    Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of increasing response to radiation therapy in subjects afflicted with cancer. In some embodiments, the method comprises reducing the ability of an immune suppressor cell (e.g., MDSC) to migrate to the microenvironment of the cancer. In some embodiments, the method further comprises suppressing the migration of the immune suppressor cell to a non-malignant cell and/or suppressing the malignant transformation of the non-malignant cells.

    Abstract: An access control system includes a processor configured to provide a trusted execution environment isolated from a rich execution environment. A rich OS operates in the rich execution environment while a trusted OS operates in the trusted execution environment. An access monitoring module operates within the kernel of the rich OS and a trusted application operates in the trusted OS. The access monitoring module intercepts file requests directed at the file systems of the rich OS, and forwards the file requests to the trusted application. The trusted application then evaluates whether the file request is permitted and provides the access monitoring module with a response. The access monitoring module forwards the request to the file system only if the trusted application approves the request.

The first pulse response and the second pulse response are compared with one another by the computing device.

The disclosure is based on ordinary insulating macroporous ceramics, using the means of cell immobilization and the principle of microbial adsorption, to prepare the microbial conductive ceramics including macroporous ceramics, microbes immobilized on the macroporous ceramics and metal ions adsorbed to the microbes. The microbial conductive ceramics have excellent performance, and the conductivity of the microbial conductive ceramics can reach 2.91×106 S/m. At the same time, the cost of the microbial conductive ceramics is low, only 10% of the cost of conductive ceramics with the same conductivity.
