  • Publication number: 20150282173
Abstract: A method for allocating frequency resources for at least two wireless devices in a cell of a wireless communication network. SPS transmissions and automatic retransmissions are applied for the at least two wireless devices. A time difference between an SPS transmission and an automatic retransmission related to the SPS transmission is determined by a round trip time value. The method is performed in a radio base station serving the cell. The method comprises determining at least two different sets of frequency resources for the SPS transmissions of the at least two wireless devices. The method further comprises allocating frequency resources for the SPS transmissions of the at least two wireless devices within an SPS period, such that the allocated frequency resources change between two of the at least two different sets every round trip time value.

  • Publication number: 20150282198
Abstract: A method (200) for a controlling node of a cell (110) in a cellular system, the method comprising (205) the use of Radio Link Control Acknowledged Mode, RLC AM, and scheduling (210) transmissions in the downlink and uplink directions to/from User Equipments, UEs (115, 120, 125), in the cell (110). The scheduling comprises taking into account a priority which each UE has for its transmissions, and counting (215) the number of scheduled transmissions for a UE in a first of said directions since its latest scheduled transmission in the other of said directions. If (220) the count has reached a predetermined value, the priority of the UE in the other of said directions is increased (225), and when (230) the UE has been scheduled for a transmission in said other direction, the counting in said first direction is restarted (235) from an initial value.

  • Patent number: 9076555
Abstract: A failure diagnosis circuit includes a multiplexer and a controller. The multiplexer receives address signals, and selectively outputs one of the address signals to an addressable module in response to a selecting signal. The controller generates a first one of address signals and the selecting signal. A built-in self-test circuit generates the second address signal. The addressable module includes addressable components responsive to the address signal. The controller processes the output of the addressable module responsive to the address signal to make a failure diagnosis. The built-in self-test circuit performs signature analysis on the read out output of the addressable module.

  • Publication number: 20150117196
Abstract: A method in a base station for adapting link adaptation of a transmission between a user equipment and the base station is provided. The link adaptation relates to an initial value of a Block Error Rate, BLER, related to the transmission. The base station decides that the user equipment is in congestion responsive to a scheduling bit rate for the transmission in relation to a rate of data packets arriving to or being sent by the user equipment being below a first threshold. Responsive to the user equipment being in congestion, the base station adapts the link adaptation by increasing the value of the BLER of the link adaptation in relation to the initial value, until the user equipment is out of congestion or until the base station detects that any one of the user equipment and the base station tries to send high priority data.

  • Publication number: 20150063244
Abstract: A method and base station (600) of a first cell (602), for—controlling inter-Gail interference in a cellular network when Discontinuous Reception, DRX, is applied for User Equipments, UEs. The base station selects a DRX scheme with active periods that are separated in time from active periods of a DRX scheme used for UEs in DRX mode in a neighbouring second cell (806). The selected DRX scheme is then used for a first UE (604) in DRX mode in the first cell to avoid interference between transmissions of signals in the active periods to the first UE in the first cell and transmissions of signals in active periods to the UEs in the neighbouring second cell.
