Abstract: Circulation active tetrahydropyridines of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents a straight-chain, branched or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical which has up to 20 carbon atoms and can be interrupted in the chain by an oxygen atom or a sulphur atom and/or can be substituted by halogen, cyano, hydroxyl, acyloxy, nitro or nitrooxy, or by a phenyl, phenoxy, phenylthio or phenylsulphonyl group which is optionally substituted by halogen, cyano, dialkylamino with in each case 1 or 2 carbon atoms per alkyl group, alkoxy with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, trifluoromethyl or nitro, or by an .alpha.-, .beta.- or .gamma.

Abstract: The invention relates to optically active 1,4-dihydropyridine compounds of Formulas Ia and Ib as defined hereinabove which are effective for influencing circulation. Also included in the invention are compositions containing said optically active compounds and methods for the use of said compounds and compositions.

Abstract: Hypotensive long-acting 1,4-dihydropyridines of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is phenyl or heterocyclic,R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 have the usual definitions in such compounds,R.sup.6 represents hydrogen or a lower alkyl radical or the trifluoromethyl group,R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 each denote a hydrogen atom or a fluorine atom,n.gtoreq.1 andm.gtoreq.0, and the sum of n and m must be a least 4, andX represents a single bond, an oxygen atom or the group --N(alkyl)--O.sub.2 S--,or pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof.

Abstract: A movable panel member incorporating an integrated electrical current distributing busbar which, for the electrification of work stations in particular, forms a screen, partition, table top, table frame, shelf, cupboard, or the like. Adapters are detachably insertable in the current distributing busbar for the supply and distribution of current. The panel member comprises at least along one edge, a channel member forming a current duct in which there is inserted a current distributing busbar, and a communication duct, separated from the current duct by means of a partition for the accommodation of communication cables. The inlet ends of both ducts are open in opposite directions on opposite sides of the panel, and they are adapted to be closed off by means of detachable covers.

Abstract: Circulation-active dihydropyridines of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is optionally substituted aryl or heterocyclic,R.sup.2 is H, NO.sub.2, CN, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkylsulphonyl, aryl or carboalkoxy,R.sup.3 is alkyl or aryl,R.sup.4 is H or alkyl,X is C.dbd.O or a direct bond, andn is a number from 1 to 20,or physiologically acceptable salts thereof. A synthesis using morpholines or thiomorpholines is also disclosed.

Abstract: The invention relates to aminoalkyl-imidazothiadiazole-alkenecarboxylic acid amides, processes for their preparation, intermediates which are used in their preparation, medicaments containing said active compounds for use as antihypertensive agents, diuretics and uricosuric agents. Also included in the invention are methods for use of said compounds and compositions for the above indicated indications. The active compounds are identified herein by formula (I) and the novel intermediates used in preparing the compounds of Formula (I) are those described herein under Formula (II).

Abstract: 1,4-Dihydropyridines of the formula ##STR1## in which n is 0,1 or 2, andR.sup.1 to R.sup.7 can have a wide variety of meanings, which possess inotropic action, and many of which are new, are useful in increasing the influx of Ca.sup.++ into cells, particularly in combatting coronary and vascular diseases, hypertension swelling in the mucous membranes and diseases involving increased blood sugar or an incorrect salt and fluid balance.

Abstract: A sewing machine with a workpiece feed comprises a feed dog positioned below the workpiece providing a four-motion feed movement. A presser foot is fixed to a presser foot bar and can be raised from the workpiece during the stitching cycle by a lifting gear to ensure turning of the workpiece. This makes it possible to follow complicated seam patterns. The lifting gear is constructed in such a way that the presser foot is raised from the workpiece while the needle perforates the material, during its downwardly directed movement approximately up to its bottom dead center position.
