    Abstract: A method for manufacturing pixel structure is provided. A patterned conductor layer including a gate, a scan line and a conductor pattern is formed on a substrate. A gate insulating layer, a metal oxide material layer and an etching stop material layer are formed on the substrate. Using the patterned conductor layer as mask, a patterned photoresist layer is formed on the etching stop material layer through a back exposure process. Using the patterned photoresist layer as mask, a metal oxide channel layer and an etching stop layer are formed above the gate. A source and a drain are formed on the etching stop layer. A passivation layer is formed on the substrate. A halftone mask is used to form a photosensitive layer on the passivation layer. The metal oxide material layer and the etching stop material layer on the scan line and the conductor pattern are removed.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for early diagnosis of liver cancer. The method comprises the steps of:(A) providing a sample obtained from a subject; (B) assessing the expression level of four subtypes of ?-mannosidase genes consisting of MAN1C1 in the sample; (C) comparing the expression level of ?-mannosidase genes in the sample with a normal control; and (D) determining whether the subject having a risk of suffering liver cancer in accordance with the result of step (C); wherein while the MAN1C1 expression level of the sample is lower than that in the normal control, the subject is determined to have a risk of suffering liver cancer. Additionally, while MAN1A1, MAN1A2 and MAN1B1 expression levels in the sample are higher than those in control group, the subject is determined to suffer from liver cancer and has a risk of metastasis. In the future, MAN1C1 can be applied to early diagnosis of liver cancer and metastasis, suppression of liver metastasis, and screening agents for treating liver cancer.

By changing the width or shape of each sub-driven electrode, at least two of the intervals in the sub-regions are different from one another, so as the Mura condition of the in-plane switching liquid crystal display can be obscure, so as the Mura defect can be minimized uniformly without being visually recognized by human eyes and further improve the visual defect of the Mura.

The manufacturing method includes the steps of: providing a semiconductor layer having a surface with an area; forming a photoresist layer on the area; forming a protective layer on the semiconductor layer and the photoresist layer; and removing the photoresist layer through a lift-off process, so as to form a via penetrating the protective layer to expose the area of the semiconductor.

    Abstract: A laser projection system including a projection screen and a laser projector is revealed. The projection screen includes at least one light emitting layer having at least one luminescent material that is excited by excitation light with a specific wavelength range to generate excited light with another wavelength range. The laser projector consists of a laser light source module, a laser signal modulation module, a rotation plane mirror module, a rotation plane mirror control module, and a signal conversion module. The laser projector produces excitation laser according to an image signal of a static image or dynamic image and projects the laser to the projection screen correspondingly for an image displayed. Thus a projected image with high recognition is displayed on the projection screen in a transparent manner in natural sunlight. Therefore efficiency and application of the laser projection are improved.

    Abstract: A flexible microelectrode for detecting neural signals and a method of fabricating the same are disclosed. The method comprises steps: growing a graphene electrode layer on a temporary substrate; growing a flexible substrate on the graphene electrode layer and patterning the flexible substrate; removing the temporary substrate but preserving the graphene electrode layer and the flexible substrate to form an electrode body; and using an insulating layer to wrap the electrode body but exposing a bio-electrode end to contact a living body and detect the signals thereof. The graphene electrode layer features high electric conductivity, high biocompatibility and low noise. The flexible substrate is bendable. Thus is improved the adherence of the skin tissue to the bio-electrode end and decreased the likelihood of skin inflammation.
