Abstract: The invention unexpectedly found that an isolated and modified QPSC population has multi-potentiality, including: osteoblasts (bone cells), chondrocytes (cartilage cells), and adipocytes (fat cells). The QPSC population of the invention features a desirable immunomodulation ability, including inducing, enhancing, or suppressing an immune response and thus has potential value in the prevention and/or treatment of various immune diseases/disorders/conditions. The invention has effective homing ability and regulation ability in complement-dependent cytotoxicity, including the ability to block the activation of host complements and direct migration to the target area and the ability to enhance cell viability, and thus offers better cell protection and therapeutic efficacy in vivo in the prevention and/or treatment of various acute tissue injury, ischemic or degenerative diseases/disorders/conditions.

Abstract: A display device includes a back cover, a front frame, a backlight module, and a display panel. The back cover has at least one supporting structure and at least one position-limiting structure. The front frame is assembled to the back cover. The backlight module is disposed between the back cover and the front frame and includes a light guide plate (LGP), and the supporting structure supports a bottom surface of the LGP. The display panel is disposed between the backlight module and the front frame, the position-limiting structure is aligned to a side surface of the display panel, and a position of the display panel is limited by the position-limiting structure.

Abstract: A method for managing a transmission order in a network includes the steps of: providing an upstream host and a plurality of downstream hosts; performing a order of a plurality of data transmission events between the upstream host and the plurality of the downstream hosts; performing a first data transmission event by the upstream host to receive first data from a first downstream host; monitoring whether the upstream host receives any priority instructions from any other downstream hosts; and if a first priority instruction is received from a second downstream host during the first data transmission event, stopping the first data transmission event and performing a second data transmission event by the upstream host to receive second data from the second downstream host.

Abstract: A light emitting ribbon comprises a main body and an adapter, and the main body is a flexible transparent strip-shaped ribbon having a plurality of LED chips, and the adapter is coupled to the main body and electrically coupled to an external circuit module to obtain a working voltage to drive the LED chips to emit light. Therefore, the integrally formed light emitting ribbon can be sewed, hot-glued, or installed onto clothing through a connecting portion, so that the clothing has a light emitting function.

Abstract: A workpiece feeding device used in a saw machine is disclosed to include a carrier having a base frame movably mounted on the machine base of the saw machine and an angle scale fastened to the base frame, a fence unit having a rip fence pivotally mounted on the base frame of the carrier and biasable relative to the angle scale, a magnetic plate assembly mounted on the base frame of the carrier and carrying a magnetic strip, and a magnetic sensor mounted in the fence unit and movable with the fence unit to measure the biasing angle of the fence unit relative to the angle scale subject to change of magnetic induction between the magnetic sensor and the magnetic strip.

Abstract: An emergency stop device for a band saw includes a brake member moveable between a standby position and an active position where the brake member firmly urges and stops a running wheel of the band saw, around which a band saw blade is looped. The brake member is held by a retainer at the standby position when the emergency stop device is inactive. When the emergency stop device is started, the retainer is separated apart from the brake member for enabling the brake member to move by an actuation of a spring member from the standby position to the active position so as to stop the cutting motion of the band saw blade.

Abstract: A band saw includes a machine base having a shaft hole for a saw blade to pass through, and a worktable having a shaft tube for the saw blade to pass through. By means of the insertion of the shaft tube of the worktable into the shaft hole of the machine base, the worktable is rotatable relative to the saw blade for adjustment of the horizontal rotary angle thereof.

Abstract: Installed in a band saw formed of a frequency converter, a motor, a driving wheel set and a band saw blade, a cutting speed display device is disclosed to include a modulator electrically connected to the frequency converter to output a linear modulation signal to the frequency converter for modulating the frequency of the output electrical power of the frequency converter so as to regulate the speed of the motor, and a display device that has a circuit device electrically connected to the modulator for receiving the linear modulation signal outputted by the modulator and converting the received linear modulation signal into a band saw blade cutting speed subject to one of a number of calculation modules set therein for enabling the band saw blade cutting speed to be displayed on the display panel. Thus, the cutting speed display device indicates the cutting speed of the band saw blade of the band saw in real time, and eliminates the problem of floating of the displayed data.

Abstract: A product of computer peripheral designed based on ergonomics and fabricating method thereof is to integrate all components of the computer system based on ergonomic analysis and the system housing design of the computer. The integration of the components can be done with screening the portable storage media device and the keyboard in the components required and feasible for integration based on affirmed criterion before integrating as an integral ergonomic component is performed such that the computer system and the product of computer peripheral are operated by the user easily and it is favorable for development of enhancing function of the system housing.
