    Abstract: The present invention discloses an optic distribution meter that includes a testing system and an imaging system. The testing system includes an arc-shaped brace which has an extended object holder; and a rail base which has a first rail. The imaging system, set at a side of the testing system, includes a screen and an image catcher. With the implementation of the present invention, the rail base is able to rotate or move an object to a test angle with very little light blocking of measurements. Besides, with the first rail supporting the object, the incident angle of the light of a light source to the object remains unchanged when the measuring angle of the imaging system is changed. Thus ensure the accuracy of measurements of the optic distribution meter.

    Abstract: A blue light leakage-suppressing LED structure for emitting white light includes at least one LED chip, an encapsulation element, a light output lens, and an optical fuse coating formed of a thermosensitive material; or includes at least one LED chip and an encapsulation element formed of a mixture of an encapsulation material and a thermosensitive material; or includes at least one blue LED chip, a fluorescent powder layer, an isolation region, an optical fuse layer, and a light output lens. Thanks to the hue changing property of the thermosensitive material, the LED structure can reduce the intensity of its short-wavelength light component and its overall brightness significantly before reaching the L70 threshold, after passing which the LED structure will emit excessive blue light. Thus, the user is protected from overexposure to blue light and will be reminded to replace the LED structure when the LED structure is about to malfunction.

The pedometer module is mounted on a sole of the body, calculates a number of steps that a user has walked according to vibration generated when the user is walking, and controls a color of light emitted from the multicolor light-emitting unit. The user can be aware of the number of steps that the user has walked according to the color of the light emitted from the multicolor light-emitting unit and plans for a desired amount of exercise for the purpose of adequate exercise. The light-emitting pedometer sneaker can emit light in the dark to warn vehicles in the neighborhood off and avoid occurrence of a traffic accident.

    Abstract: An image sensor mechanism for use in a digital image capture device. The mechanism generally includes a photo sensor array, a liquid crystal light valve array, and a control module. The liquid crystal light valve array is operatively disposed in front of the photo sensor array and includes a plurality of light valves, each of which is independently controllable and corresponds to at least one pixel sensor of the photo sensor array so as to selectively prevent light from reaching the photo sensor array. The control module is electrically coupled to the liquid crystal light valve array and the photo sensor array for applying a variable electric field across each of the light valves and for selectively adjusting the light valves with different transmittances based on a preliminary image previously captured by the photo sensor array in order to transform the preliminary image into a resultant image to be re-captured by the photo sensor array.

    Abstract: A source driver and a method to reduce peak current of the source driver are provided. The source driver includes a latch circuit, a level shifter and a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) circuit. The latch circuit latches current bit-data. The latch circuit is coupled to an input terminal of the level shifter. The DAC circuit is coupled to an output terminal of the level shifter. When the current bit-data is not a complement of previous bit-data, the latch circuit selects and outputs the current bit-data to the input terminal of the level shifter, and the DAC circuit outputs a voltage corresponding to the output data of the level shifter. When the current bit-data is the complement of the previous bit-data, the latch circuit selects and outputs the previous bit-data to the input terminal of the level shifter, and the DAC circuit outputs a voltage corresponding to the current bit-data.
