  • Patent number: 8559439
Abstract: A method and apparatus for queue-ordering commands in multi-engines, multi-queues and/or multi-flows environment is provided. Commands from single/multiple queues and multi-flows are processed by multi-engines with different processing time and/or out of order, which breaks sequential order of commands from same input queue and commands are distributed across multiple engines' output buffer after processing. Processed commands are stored in dedicated command output buffer associated with each engine temporarily. The processed commands are re-ordered while writing out. Also commands can be scheduled to idle engines to achieve maximum throughput, thus utilizing the engines in an optimal manner.

  • Patent number: 8377361
Abstract: In imprint lithography, a mold having a pattern of projecting and recessed regions is pressed into a moldable surface on a substrate. The thus-imprinted moldable surface is permitted to at least partially harden to retain the imprint, and the substrate and mold are separated. In accordance with the invention, the substrate is separated from the mold by bending laterally distal regions (regions away from the center toward the edges) of the mold transversely away from the interface and transversely restraining the substrate. The mold can then be easily separated from the substrate by transverse displacement. The separation can be facilitated by providing a mold having a lateral dimension that on at least two sides extends beyond the corresponding lateral dimension of the substrate. Alternatively, the substrate can have a greater lateral extent than the mold, and the mold can be restrained. The distal regions of the substrate can be bent in the transverse direction.

  • Patent number: 8371150
Abstract: Provided is a forming die, including a movable supporting member, a movable die, a fixed supporting member and a fixed die. The movable supporting member disposes an oblique sliding groove. The movable die disposes an oblique guiding surface engaged with the oblique sliding groove. The movable die disposes a forming portion, which includes a forming base and a protruding portion extending downward from the forming base. The movable die can tilted move along the oblique sliding groove. The fixed die disposes a flange having a high point. The forming die of the present invention employs the movable die tilted moving along the oblique sliding groove to make the protruding portion extend into the back space of the high point, so that no gap exists between a bending portion of a terminal and the flange for obtaining the bending portion having a large bending degree and having a stable size.

  • Publication number: 20120324977
Abstract: A stamping tool for stamping a product having a base plate and a contact arm includes an assistant block, a supporting element assembled in the assistant block, a molding floater slidably mounted to one side of the assistant block and a pressing element driving the molding floater to slide downward to secure the base plate therebetween. A plurality of resisting sections are formed on a top of the supporting element and stretched beyond a top of the assistant block. A top of the molding floater extends to form a bending board suspended over the resisting sections. A molding punch is movably inserted in the pressing element with a bottom end thereof projected out of the pressing element for making the contact arm pass through two corresponding resisting sections to be bent towards a bottom of the bending board, wherein the resisting sections resist against the bottom of the bending board.

  • Patent number: 8337959
Abstract: In imprint lithography, the mold is coated with a surface release layer for a non-sticking separation. Bonding strength of the release layer to the mold depends on the cleanness of the surface and the process of release layer deposition. In accordance with the invention, the mold is disposed in an evacuable chamber, cleaned to remove surface organic contamination and coated with the surface release layer in a chamber, all without relocation or undesired time delay. The chamber encloses a support chuck for the mold or substrate, a surface cleaner unit adjacent the support, a heating source adjacent the support, and advantageously, sensors of measuring chamber pressure, vapor partial pressure and moisture concentration. A vapor source connected to the chamber supplies release surfactant vapor. The mold is cleaned, and the cleaning is followed by vapor phase deposition of the surfactant. The mold is advantageously heated. Typical ways of cleaning include exposure to ozone or plasma ion etch.

  • Patent number: 8333583
Abstract: A mold for imprinting a patterned region by imprint lithography is provided with a peripheral groove around the patterned region. The groove is connected, as by channels through the mold, to a switchable source for gas removal to prevent bubbles and for the application of pressurized gas to separate the mold and substrate. In use, the mold is disposed adjacent the moldable surface and gas is withdrawn from the patterned region through the groove as the mold is pressed toward and into the moldable surface. At or near the end of the imprinting, the process is switched from removal of gas to the application of pressurized gas. The pressurized gas passes through the groove and separates or facilitates separation of the mold and the moldable surface.

  • Publication number: 20120312068
Abstract: A stamping tool for stamping a product having an extending portion includes an upper mold having an inserting punch of which a bottom end defines an inclined pressing surface exposed under the upper mold, and a lower mold including an adjusting element, a sliding block, a returning block, a returning bolt and an elastic element. The returning bolt is inserted in the elastic element, and then screwed in the sliding block through the returning block. The sliding block is slidable between the returning block and the adjusting element and has one corner provided with an inclined abutting surface. The inclined pressing surface presses the abutting surface to push the sliding block and the returning bolt to slide towards the adjusting element so as to make the extending portion clipped between the sliding block and the adjusting element for modulating the product.
