In the PDU session activation method, after receiving a downlink data arrival notification message, an SMF entity determines that a PDU session for transmitting downlink data is a multi-access PDU session, and then determines at least one access and mobility management function (AMF) entity corresponding to the multi-access PDU session; and the SMF entity sends a session activation trigger message to the at least one AMF entity, wherein the session activation trigger message carries at least the session identifier of the multi-access PDU session, and the session activation trigger message enables the at least one AMF entity to activate any or specified one of at least two user plane connections corresponding to the multi-access PDU session according to the multi-access PDU session corresponding to the session identifier.

Abstract: A method and a device of allocating an EPS bearer identifier, an SMF, and a PCF are provided. The method includes mapping a session/connection to an EPS bearer, and requesting a UE or an AMF to allocate an EPS bearer identifier to a mapped EPS bearer.

Abstract: Disclosed are a message transmitting method and apparatus, and a control method and apparatus therefor for solving the problem of whether a congestion control back-off timer still running in a first PLMN is still valid in a second PLMN after a UE moves from the first PLMN to the second PLMN. The message transmitting method comprises: when it is necessary to establish a new PDU session after a UE moves from a first PLMN to a second PLMN, determining indication information of a network side; and when the UE needs to transmit a session management (SM) message in the second PLMN, determining, according to the indication information, whether a congestion control back-off timer of the UE in the first PLMN is still valid in the second PLMN.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and device for processing non-matching between a UE unit and a network state applicable to an access and mobility management (AMF) function. The method comprises: upon receiving a non-access stratum message transmitted by a UE unit or an N2 interface message transmitted by a radio access network (RAN) node, determining that the UE unit is in a connected state at a network side; and if it is determined that a change occurs in a RAN node serving the UE unit, notifying said RAN node that a context of the UE unit and an existing user plane connection are to be released. The invention solves technical problems in the prior art of inefficient use of an air interface resource and packet loss, thereby reducing paging overheads and packet loss.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and device for managing and controlling a terminal UE. The method is applied to a network data analytics function (NWDAF) entity, and the method includes acquiring feature information of a UE; analyzing the feature information, and determining that a security risk exists in the UE; sending a first indication to at least one network function entity in a network, and triggering the at least one network function entity to carry out policy update or parameter adjustment on the UE, and the first indication is used for prompting the type of the security risk confronted by the UE, or for indicating a policy or parameter for the security risk of the UE; and/or sending a second indication to the UE, and triggering the UE to raise an alarm and/or carry out risk defense.

Abstract: Disclosed are an information processing method and apparatus, and a computer storage medium, and same are used for setting, based on mobility-related information of a terminal, mobility management parameters of the terminal, so that registration area management and accessibility management can be carried out using a mobility behavior analysis result of the terminal. The information processing method provided in the present application comprises: an AMF receiving mobility-related information of a terminal, and the mobility-related information of the terminal is mobility analysis/prediction information, sent by an NWDAF, of the terminal or mobility management policy information, sent by a PCF, of the terminal; and the AMF setting, according to the mobility-related information of the terminal, mobility management parameters of the terminal.

Abstract: A method for determining a data forwarding tunnel, an AMF entity, and a base station (BS) are provided. The method includes: receiving data forwarding information of target UE forwarded by MME, and acquiring a QoS flow configured by a 5G core network for each bearer of the target UE, and mapping relationship between a bearer and a QoS flow, where the data forwarding information includes a list of bearers allocated by EPS to the target UE and an indication of a determination by a 4G BS as to whether each bearer of the target UE has data to forward; transmitting the data forwarding information, the configured QoS flow, and the mapping relationship to a target 5G BS; and receiving forwarding tunnel information of a 5G BS configured for the target UE by the target 5G BS according to the data forwarding information, the configured QoS flow, and the mapping relationship.

Abstract: A default quality of service (QoS) control method and device for solving the problem in the prior art that there is no solution for generating a default QoS rule for a NextGen network. In embodiments of the present disclosure, an SMF entity determines a target PCC rule from at least one PCC rule sent by a PCF entity; the SMF entity generates, according to the target PCC rule, a default QoS rule corresponding to a PDU session, and sends the default QoS rule to a UE. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, because the connectivity and QoS control of the PDU session are ensured, and the target PCC rule used by the SMF to generate the default QoS rule is determined by the PCF entity for a PDU session of the UE, the precise control for a specific UE and a specific PDU session is implemented, and the system performance is further improved.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a session management method, a mobility management functional entity and a session management functional entity. The session management method includes: judging, by a mobility management functional entity, whether a UE has moved out of an allowed area; when the UE has moved out of the allowed area, determining, by the mobility management functional entity, a management message for a session of the UE; and transmitting, by the mobility management functional entity, the management message to a session management functional entity for serving the UE. The management message is adopted to trigger the session management functional entity to manage the session of the UE.

The information processing method includes: receiving a registration update request from a UE; determining whether the UE has entered or left an MICO mode; when the UE has left the MICO mode, sending a first message to an associated SMF, the first message being adopted to notify the associated SMF that the UE has left the MICO mode or the UE is reachable; and when the UE has entered the MICO mode, sending a second message to a target SMF, the second message being adopted to notify the target SMF that the UE has entered the MICO mode or the UE is unreachable.

Abstract: A dedicated bearer creation method, an MME, and a PDN gateway are provided. The dedicated bearer creation method includes: in a TAU procedure, when it is determined that a UE has moved from a 5G network to a 4G network based on identification information provided by the UE, keeping a control plane NAS connection after the TAU procedure; and when a create dedicated bearer request has been received from a PDN gateway, creating a dedicated bearer for the UE using the NAS connection. According to the present disclosure, it is able to create a radio bearer based on the practical need, and prevent the occurrence of a waste of air interface resources caused when the MME requests an eNB to create a user plane radio bearer in the TAU procedure, thereby to solve the problem in the related art where the waste of the air interface resources is caused by a dedicated bearer creation scheme.

Abstract: The present application discloses a method and an apparatus for transmitting downlink data, to resolve the issue of erroneous transmission of downlink data of UE when the UE moves from an EPS network to a 5G network. The method comprises: after receiving a request message for updating a session management context of the UE, a session management function entity in embodiments of the present application determining that the UE has moved from a first network to a second network; the session management function entity notifying a user plane function entity to delete a user plane connection of the UE in the first network, and creating a user plane connection of the UE in the second network, such that the user plane function entity transmits downlink data of the UE through the newly created user plane connection.

Abstract: Disclosed are a session management method and apparatus, wherein same are applied to a mobile network. The method comprises: determining a registration mode of a terminal sending a session establishment request or an interoperation capability supported by a network side device; and when the registration mode is a single-registration mode or when the network side device supports the interoperation capability, determining the completion of the mapping of QoS parameters between different systems when a session connection is created for the terminal. The present invention solves the technical problems in the prior art that an SMF cannot determine whether QoS mapping needs to be performed when a terminal is establishing a session connection in a mobile network and that an unnecessary signalling process will be caused for a terminal with a dual-registration mode if the SMF always performs QoS mapping.
