  • Publication number: 20100176778
Abstract: An automatic voltage-identifying power supply device has a control module, a voltage regulation circuit, a current load measuring circuit electrically connected with an external post-stage power-receiving device, a power supply circuit and a pre-stage power supply device. After the post-stage power-receiving device is electrically connected with the current load measuring circuit, the control module can control the voltage regulation circuit to output a test voltage signal to the post-stage power-receiving device so that the test voltage signal is altered according to a preset sequence (e.g. progressively increasing) and the current load measuring circuit measures a response current signal of the post-stage power-receiving device corresponding to the test voltage signal. When a variation of the response current signal or a power variation is stable, the control module sets up the stable test voltage signal as an input voltage to the post-stage power-receiving device.

  • Patent number: 7735550
Abstract: A method of blocking a water out zone in a production well includes the steps of connecting a throttle unit to a dump bailer, wherein the throttle unit is internally defined a flowing space, which can be adjusted in size to thereby control a flow rate of cement for blocking the water out zone; loading the cement into the dump bailer; slowly lowering down the loaded dump bailer to the water out zone in the production well; opening an outlet of the dump bailer under control, so that the cement flows from the dump bailer into the throttle unit and is released at a flow rate preset by adjusting the size of the flowing space; allowing the released cement to load up in the water out zone and slowly permeate into a gravel layer in the production well before becoming cured to block the water out zone.

  • Patent number: 7694737
Abstract: In a method of blocking a water-out zone in a gas well by dumping cement and injecting pressurizing gas, a gas is injected into a target well to push and press accumulated water in the well back into the formation surrounding the well, so that the well is water-free; meanwhile, a dump bailer is lowered to the water-out zone in the well using a wire line. When the dump bailer has reached the water-out zone, it is controlled to open a bottom opening thereof to release cement milk loaded therein. The released cement milk accumulates in the water-out zone and then slowly flows into a gravel layer between a screen pipe and a wall of the well. The gas injection continues until the cement milk is cured and hardened to achieve the object of blocking the water-out zone.

  • Publication number: 20090260077
Abstract: A security-enhanced login technique that provides a convenient and easy-to-use two factor technique to enhance the security of passwords without requiring any changes on the server side of a client-server network. The technique employs a convenient and easy-to-use two-factor technique to generate strong passwords for Web and other applications. In this technique, a convenient or personal device such as a mouse is used as the other factor besides a user password. A secret stored in the mouse or other personal device is hashed together with the password entered by a user and the server ID, to generate a strong, server-specific password which is used to authenticate the user to the server. This password enhancement operation is carried out inside the personal device.

  • Patent number: 7186775
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for increasing the heat-resistant of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), the method is characterized by using a mixture of acetic acid, magnesium dihydrogen phosphate, and potassium dihydrogen phosphate at a certain ratio as an acid-treating solution in the acid-treating procedure of a process for preparing EVOH. The EVOH produced by the method of the present invention exhibits an excellent heat-resistance and does not become yellowing attributed to the elevated processing temperature. Also, the EVOH generated by the method of the present invention exhibits a uniform heat-resistance since the additives are dispersed evenly in the EVOH.

  • Patent number: 6727501
Abstract: An over-etched defect in a semiconductor wafer is detected by applying an electrical field to the contacts in a first area and comparing the intensity measured with the intensity from a reference area. In one embodiment, one of the contacts in each of the first and reference areas is a gate contact in an MOS device and a second contact is either a source or drain contact. The selected charging field forward biases the pn junctions between the source and drain regions and the well in which they are formed. As a result, defects caused by gate contacts shorted to one of the source and drain contacts are visible using voltage contrast imaging techniques.
