  • Publication number: 20220178086
Abstract: A road network balanced drainage method aimed at reducing urban waterlogging is disclosed. According to the drainage demand, the existing intersection elevation is changed or the intersection elevation that meets the drainage requirement is designed and implemented in new construction so that the intersection drainage is distributed according to the desired proportion; the water flowing to the water accumulation position is transferred to reduce the waterlogging degree. Through the analysis of the depth of water accumulation in the whole road network, the method of water flow distribution at the intersection is used to make the precipitation flow evenly distributed in the whole road network. The method can be used for solving serious water accumulation of a certain road section, the balanced drainage of the whole road network, the technical transformation of existing intersections, and for the planned and designed roads. The method can effectively eliminate and prevent urban waterlogging.

  • Publication number: 20220092189
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an implementation for a trusted computing system. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, a master controller in an SSD, which is necessarily configured in the system, is used to provide all necessary security functionality of the system's RoT. The system does not need to contain any special RoT chip or module, does not need any modifications in the system design, is easy to adopt, and can be implemented by any system comprising a hard drive. All necessary security functions are completed by the master controller of the system's hard drive. Thus, not only can the cost of the security module be reduced, but more importantly, the mechanism directly protects information and resources (e.g., operating system, user programs, user data, etc.) that actually need to be protected in the system, and once the mechanism is enabled, the protection function cannot be bypassed.

  • Patent number: 11260880
Abstract: In one embodiment, instead of using map data, a relative coordinate system is utilized to assist perception of the driving environment surrounding an ADV for some driving situations. One of such driving situations is driving on a highway. Typically, a highway has fewer intersections and exits. The relative coordinate system is utilized based on the relative lane configuration and relative obstacle information to control the ADV to simply follow the lane and avoid potential collision with any obstacles discovered within the road, without having to use map data. Once the relative lane configuration and obstacle information have been determined, regular path and speed planning and optimization can be performed to generate a trajectory to drive the ADV. Such a perception system is referred to as a relative perception system based on a relative coordinate system.
