  • Patent number: 10572560
Abstract: An approach to finding facets of big data across multiple subject fields which have mutual relevance and provide useful information and insights. The approach is based on an analysis of diagrams associated with facets found in big data, such as that available on the internet, and the results of the analysis are further refined through a regional analysis and a search of social media data for events pertaining to the facets. • Patent number: 10549749
Abstract: It is determined an ADV is inevitable to collide with at least one of the objects surrounding the ADV based on the relative positions and speeds between the ADV and the objects in view of the physical dimensions of the ADV. An object may be another vehicle, a pedestrian, a bicycle, a static obstacle. For each of the objects, a collision cost between the ADV and the object is calculated using a set of one or more cost functions or cost algorithms. A collision cost represents an amount of potential damage if the collision is to occur. One of the objects is selected whose collision cost is the least amongst the objects. A path or trajectory is planned for the ADV leading or towards to the selected object to minimize the potential damage when the ADV potentially collide with the selected object compared to the remaining objects.

  • Publication number: 20200012948
Abstract: Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: obtaining a request for a predicted ensemble score in real-time. A subset of base model instances is formed by use of a preconfigured priority policy. A fitness score of the formed subset, quantifying the accuracy of the subset, is calculated as a sum of weights respective to the base model instances in the subset. A number of base models represented in the subset is less than or equal to a number of all based models.

  • Patent number: 10494630
Abstract: Provided is a linker element and a method of using the linker element to construct a sequencing library, wherein the linker element consists of a linker A and a linker B, the linker A is obtained through the complementary pairing of a long nucleic acid strand and a short nucleic acid strand, the 5? end of the long strand has a phosphoric acid modification, and the 3? end of the short strand has an enclosed modification, with enzyme sites in the short strand; and the linker B is a nucleic acid single strand, and the 3? end thereof can be in a complementary pairing with the 5? end of the long strand of the linker A. Using the linker element of the present invention for constructing a sequencing library ensures the linking directionality of the linkers while solving the problems of fragment interlinking, linker self-linking and low linking efficiency, and reducing the purification reaction between steps, shortening the linking time and reducing costs.
