Abstract: A method for controlling a drying machine which includes a drum, a fan to circulate air within the drum, and at least one heater to heat air provided to the drum, and uses the motor and the at least one heater as a load, includes, upon receiving a drying process command from a user, receiving power rate information for each hour from an energy management system (EMS), recognizing current power rates on the basis of the power rate information for each hour, determining whether the current power rates are higher than reference power rates by comparing the current power rates with the reference power rates, and adjusting the operation rate of any one of the motor and the at least one heater when the current power rates are higher than the reference power rates. The drying machine changes the load operation rate before the power rates exceed the reference power rates, resulting in reduction in power consumption.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a control method of clothing dryer that sprays an appropriate amount of mist based on the amount of clothing and dries the clothing at a fiber rearrangement temperature to remove wrinkles from the clothing. Standard regain of clothing is confirmed, mist is sprayed such that an amount of mist equivalent to approximately twice the standard regain reaches the clothing, and the clothing is dried at the fiber rearrangement temperature, whereby wrinkles are removed from the clothing.

Abstract: A deodorizing filter including at least one deodorizing member to adsorb odor particles contained in fluid. The deodorizing member includes a substrate having plural pass-through pores to allow passage of the fluid, an adherent material applied to a surface of the substrate, and plural porous deodorizer materials fixed to the surface of the substrate by the adherent material to adsorb the odor particles. The deodorizing filter more effectively deodorizes interior air of a refrigerator owing to an increased contact area between interior air of the refrigerator and the deodorizer materials of the deodorizing filter.

Abstract: A method of controlling handover in a server and including receiving a handover required message including information indicating that a Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) membership for a terminal in a Home (e)NodeB has expired; transmitting a handover command message to the Home (e)NodeB; receiving a status report message from the Home (e)NodeB indicating that the CSG membership for the terminal is updated; receiving information related to a CSG membership of the terminal from a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) if the terminal handover was performed from the Home (e)NodeB to another base station; determining that the terminal performs a reverse handover from the another base station to the Home (e)NodeB based on the status report message and information obtained from the HSS; and transmitting a control message to perform the reverse handover to another base station.

Abstract: A Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based session setup method and an terminal thereof, wherein the SIP based session setup method, in a session setup process performed between terminals in a SIP based network which includes at least one or more of the terminals and at least one or more entities, comprises sending a SIP INVITE message from a first terminal to a second terminal, receiving and analyzing the SIP INVITE message by the second terminal, and including a certain service condition in a SIP RESPONSE message, by the second terminal, and sending the SIP RESPONSE message including the service condition to the first terminal.

Abstract: In a washing machine, a power management apparatus and a method of controlling the same, washing operation and drying operation commands are input by a user, power rate information for each time period is received from an EMS, a drying operation execution time is confirmed, and power rates corresponding to the drying operation execution time are determined based on the power rate information for each time period. Then, the power rates corresponding to the drying operation execution time are compared with the standard power rates to determine whether the power rates corresponding to the drying operation execution time are higher than the standard power rates, and an algorithm of a final spinning mode in the washing operation is adjusted if the power rates corresponding to the drying operation execution time are higher than the standard power rates.

Abstract: There is provided a method for selecting an access point (AP), the method performed by a user equipment. The method may comprise: receiving a prioritized list with respect to APs, the prioritized list includes at least one of roaming consortium information, a network address identifier (NAI), a public land mobile network (PLMN) identifier; scanning at least one or more APs in the vicinity thereby generating an available list which includes at least one or more service set identifiers (SSIDs) and roaming consortium information; acquiring at least one or more NAIs from the roaming consortium information in the available list using pre-stored mapping information; comparing the acquired NAI with the NAI in the prioritized list to select a proper AP.

Abstract: There is provided a method for determining a handover. The method may comprise: determining, by User Equipment (UE), whether a timer is running, wherein the UE has accessed multiple Radio Access Technologies (RATs); if the timer is not running, performing, by the UE, a handover of a data traffic, which has been routed onto a Wireless LAN (WLAN), to an original RAT; and if the timer is running, not performing, by the UE, the handover of the data traffic, which has been routed onto the WLAN, to the original RAT. The data traffic may be been routed onto the WLAN as a result of Circuit Switched Fall-Back (CSFB) or 3GPP RAT mobility.

Abstract: For traffic offload via a local network, a MME may obtain from a HSS, subscription data including SIPTO related permissions defined on APN basis that indicate SIPTO prohibited, indicate SIPTO allowed excluding SIPTO via Local Network (SIPTO@LN), and/or indicate SIPTO allowed including SIPTO@LN. Then, the MME may obtain information about one or more local Gateways (GWs) capable of offloading selected traffic, such information indicating which of the one or more local GWs provides access to which Packet Data Networks (PDNs), with each PDN being identified by its associated APN. Finally, the MME may process PDN connections and/or PDN disconnections in order to support offloading of the selected traffic. The counterpart UE includes the appropriate means of hardware and/or software that is configured to support and perform SIPTO@LN.

Abstract: A method, server and terminal for providing a Voice Call Continuity (VCC) service, are discussed. According to an embodiment, the terminal includes a storage unit to store operator policy information and user preference information, the user preference information including domain selection information specifying a user-preferred domain to be used when originating the outgoing call from the terminal, the operator policy information including domain selection information specifying a network-preferred domain to be used when originating the outgoing call from the terminal; and a controller to perform a domain selection for the outgoing call based on the user preference information or the operator policy information.

Abstract: A method, terminal and server for controlling a domain transfer operation, are discussed. According to an embodiment, the method includes determining, by a terminal, whether a session is transferred from a first domain to a second domain, wherein the determining is based on an operator policy and radio conditions, wherein the operator policy is received by the terminal from a network, and wherein the operator policy includes at least one of first information indicating an operator's preferred domain and second information indicating whether to initiate the domain transfer in a short time.

Abstract: A drying apparatus provided with a total care function with respect to a substance such as bedding, a washing machine having the same, and a control method thereof may include a sterilization course, a deodorization course, a pest elimination course, a dust elimination course, and a refreshing course, and may be capable of performing each total care function in an independent manner. By changing a rotation speed of the drum according to the type and the weight of the bedding, the damage of the substance at each of the total care courses is reduced while obtaining optimal effects. By providing a standard course having all the total care functions, the manipulation efficiency is enhanced for a user who is not familiar with the manipulation of the courses and also for a user who is not in favor of the individual manipulation of the courses.

Abstract: A method for controlling access of a terminal, which is connected to a Home (e)NodeB operated in a closed access mode, the method comprises: determining whether a timer, which designates allowable time to access to the Home (e)NodeB by using a specific closed subscriber group (CSG) ID, has expired; comparing an allowed CSG list for the terminal with a CSG ID list of the Home (e)NodeB if the allowed access timer has expired; and changing the specific CSG ID of the terminal into another CSG ID such that service to the terminal from the Home (e)NodeB is maintained if there is the another CSG ID in both the allowed CSG ID list for the terminal and the CSG ID list of the Home (e)NodeB.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for applying an extended access barring (EAB), the method performed by a machine type communication (MTC) device and comprising: recognizing, by an upper layer of the MTC device, a change from being operated in an override low priority to being operated in a low priority; informing, by the upper layer, a lower layer that the priority has been changed; and determining, by the lower layer, whether to apply the EAB, to handle at least one of an attach request, a tracking area update request, and a service request. If the EAB is applied, a RRC connection is barred.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a washing machine and a detergent supply path which guides detergent stored in a lower part of a main body of the washing machine to an upper part of the main body. The washing machine includes a main body; a support base removably mounted to the main body; a detergent storage unit mounted at a lower part of the main body to be moved in and out of the main body; a detergent supply path guiding the detergent stored in the detergent storage unit that is in the lower part of the main body, to an upper part of the main body; and a guide unit guiding movement of the detergent supply path according to the movement in and out of the detergent storage unit.

Abstract: A method for controlling access of a terminal to a Home (e)NodeB by a network entity, the terminal accessed to the Home (e)NodeB operated in a closed access mode or a hybrid access mode by using a specific closed subscriber group (CSG) ID. The method includes recognizing by the network entity, that an allowed access timer of the specific CSG ID with respect to the Home (e)NodeB has expired; transmitting an Update Bearer Request message to other network entity in order to change a membership of the expired CSG ID; transmitting a Bearer Modify Request message to the Home (e)NodeB in order to change a membership of the expired CSG ID; and updating a bearer with said other network entity, and a bearer with the Home (e)NodeB.

Abstract: A washing control method that is capable of controlling laundry to be effectively washed with bubbles depending upon load of a washing machine. The washing control method includes supplying wash water containing detergent into a space between a lower portion of a rotary drum and a lower inner surface of a water tub; heating the wash water containing detergent; generating and supplying bubbles into the rotary drum; and washing laundry with the supplied bubbles.

Abstract: A washing machine and a washing control method of the same that is capable of controlling laundry to be effectively washed with bubbles depending upon load of the washing machine and types of the laundry. The washing control method includes detecting the amount of load depending upon the weight of laundry, controlling the amount of wetting water according to the detected amount of load to wet the laundry, and generating bubbles to wash the laundry.
