  • Publication number: 20210322698
Abstract: A system and method for ventilating includes a holding tank, such as, for example, a medical sealed apparatus, for storing of gases. The holding tank stores at least pressured oxygen, for example O2, though the holding tank may store a pressurized blend of oxygen and air. This blend may include a 50-50 mix of oxygen and air. The pressure applied to the gases in the holding tank may include a range from 5 pounds force per square inch to 20 pounds force per square inch. The blend of oxygen and air, for example, under pressure in the holding tank, the system and method for ventilating of the present disclosure no longer requires an electronic mechanical system, such as, for example, a pump or motor on the inhalation control and the exhalation control to the ventilating system and method.

  • Patent number: 10690901
Abstract: A method of generating in-focus images of measurement locations of a sample holder in a microscopy imaging system is provided. A camera sensor and an array of focusing optics are positioned at a first focal distance from the sample holder. A first image of a measurement location is acquired using the camera sensor. A candidate output image associated with the camera sensor and the array of focusing optics is developed in accordance with the first image. The camera sensor with the array of focusing optics is positioned at a second distance from the sample holder and a second image of the measurement location is acquired using the camera sensor. A portion of the candidate output image is updated in accordance with a portion of the second image in accordance with a selection criterion. The updated candidate image is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20200144923
Abstract: Control circuits and methods to operate a switch of a DC-DC converter, including an output circuit to turn the switch off to control a peak inductor current in a given switching control cycle, and a modulation circuit to implement transition mode (TM) or continuous conduction mode (CCM) operation for a given switching control cycle by causing the output circuit to turn the switch on in response to an earlier one of a first signal, that represents an inductor current of the DC-DC converter, decreasing to a reference voltage that represents a zero crossing of the inductor current for the TM operation or the first signal decreasing to a valley reference signal that represents a non-zero value of the inductor current for the CCM operation.

  • Patent number: 10630175
Abstract: A power supply circuit includes a regulation circuit that receives an input voltage and provides a regulated output voltage based on the input voltage. The regulation circuit includes a switch device having a switched output that generates a ripple current waveform in the current regulator to provide the regulated output voltage. A control circuit includes a pseudo current tracker (PCT) that is operatively coupled to the regulation circuit. The PCT receives a reference voltage and generates a ripple voltage waveform that is proportional to the ripple current waveform. The control circuit commands the switch device to generate the ripple current waveform based on the ripple voltage waveform such that the regulated output voltage approximates the reference voltage.
