  • Patent number: 6916004
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve for opening and closing a fluid flow passage by operating a plunger under a magnetic force of a solenoid. The valve comprises a valve head provided at one of opposite ends of the plunger, and a fixed valve seat including an orifice providing a fluid flow passage. The valve head is adapted to abut against the valve seat to close the orifice. A spring resiliently presses the valve head in a direction for abutment of the valve head against the valve seat to close the orifice. Either one of the valve head and the valve seat is formed from a metallic material and the other is formed from a non-metallic material having a greater hardness than the metallic material. It is preferred that the metallic material be a highly corrosion-resistant metal alloy containing Ni in a high amount ratio, and the non-metallic material be of a ceramic type.

  • Publication number: 20050098748
Abstract: An actuator operated by a solenoid and a force amplifying means utilizing hydraulic pressure are used in combination with a diaphragm, to thereby provide a diaphragm valve made of Teflon™, and which is compact in size, has low power consumption, and which is capable of exerting a large force. The force amplifying means mainly comprises a cylinder including cylinder portions having different cross-sectional areas and oil filled in the cylinder. A force amplification ratio is equal to a ratio between the cross-sectional areas of the cylinder portions. A plunger which receives a biasing force of a spring is provided on an upper side of the force amplifying means. The plunger is operated by a solenoid, and a driving force of the plunger is amplified by the force amplifying means and transmitted to the diaphragm, thus adjusting a degree of valve opening.

  • Patent number: 6880911
Abstract: In the ink jet head unit of the present invention, an ink jet head for emitting ink in a formof droplets from nozzles formed in a nozzle face and a driving circuit for driving the ink jet head are mounted on the same surface side of the base board. A groove section is formed in the surface, extending from the nozzle face of the ink jet head to the driving circuit. In the ink jet head, a temperature measuring section is positioned in the groove section. Furthermore, there is provided a sealing member in the groove section, to prevent the flow of ink emitted from the nozzles, into the driving circuit. The sealing member is partly formed of an elastic body. Therefore, since the elastic body can restrain a change in the volume of the sealing member likely to be caused by a temperature change, it is possible to prevent the temperature change from impairing the ink jet head, consequently realizing ink projection stability.

  • Patent number: 6824250
Abstract: In the ink jet apparatus according to the present invention, an ink repellent layer similar to that having an ink repellent property satisfying a slide-down speed—as determined by a slide-down speed evaluation method for measuring a slide-down speed of ink droplets by immersing a test piece having the ink repellent layer formed on the surface thereof in an ink similar to another ink curable by radiation and used in the ink jet apparatus, pulling the test piece out of the ink, fixing the test piece at 45 degrees with respect to a horizontal plane, and dropping 10 to 20 &mgr;l of the ink to the fixed test piece—of 2 mm/sec or greater at 25° C. either just after immersion or 100 hours after immersion is formed on at least a peripheral surface of the nozzle which surface constitutes an ink-ejection-side surface of the orifice plate. This contributes to the stabilization of the straight ejection property of ink droplets.

  • Patent number: 6785404
Abstract: An image positional relation apparatus is provided, in which coordinate data of a real targed photographed by a CCD camera and coordinate data of a virtual target logically calculated from the predetermined position of the real target are transmitted to a superimpose circuit, and the real target and the virtual target are superimposed to be displayed on a monitor screen. A user operates a controller so that the real target coincides with the virtual target. An amount of such operation is transmitted to the superimpose circuit as a correction amount, and the positional relation between the real target and the virtual target, i.e., the positional relation between the real image and the virtual image can be properly corrected.

  • Patent number: 6779394
Abstract: A thermal mass flow controller includes a sensor assembly, a valve assembly, and mass flow controller housing. A thermal ground limits the conductive thermal path between the mass flow controller housing and the sensor assembly and, due to the limited cross-section of the thermal ground, substantially eliminates externally imposed thermal gradients within the sensor assembly. The controller also includes a thermally dissipative element that conducts thermal energy along a path from the valve assembly away from the sensor assembly.

  • Patent number: 6704653
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle backward movement assisting apparatus during parking, in which a steering assisting guide display is performed so that a driver can easily comprehend a steering rate and time frame, a steering amount or a backward movement amount in parking a vehicle. When a vehicle starts a turn, a detecting means of a rotation speed difference between a right wheel and a left wheel detects a rotation speed difference between a right wheel and a left wheel. When the difference becomes the predetermined value or larger, it is recognized that the vehicle starts the turn. The angle speed, which is detected by a yaw rate sensor since the start of the turn, is added as a yaw angle. Then, the vehicle is stopped and a shift lever is operated so as to be set to a backward movement position, whereby the yaw angle at this time is detected as the turn angle since the time of starting the turn.

  • Patent number: 6619991
Abstract: A connector for a memory card 11 comprises the housing 12, the plate 14, the guide plate 16, the lock system 18, and the connector pin keeping part 20. Because the connector pin keeping part 20 is formed as horizontally bridged to a rear surface of the housing 12, and also the press-fitting part 40d of the connector pin 40 is press-fitted with a perpendicular state, the connector for a memory card 11 not only can be miniaturized but also can achieve a reduced thickness by restricting an amount protruding to a rear side within a small volume. Therefore, because a shape of the connector pin 40 is bent like a L-shape and the fixing hole 20a of the connector pin keeping part 20 is extended in an up-down direction and formed in the housing 12, it can promote the miniaturization and reduced thickness of the connector for a memory card 11. As a result, reducing a weight of the connector for a memory card 11 can also be attained.

  • Patent number: 6621421
Abstract: In a vehicle backward movement assisting apparatus for in-line parking, at a stop position of a vehicle, a seesaw switch is manipulated until an in-line guide line is superimposed on a target point which is a corner of a frame of a parking space, and a steering wheel is turned until the vehicle space mark is superimposed on the parking space, and the vehicle is moved backward while the steering angle of the steering wheel is held. When an eye mark is superimposed on the parking space, the vehicle is stopped, and the steering angle of the steering wheel is made maximum and the vehicle is moved backward, to thereby complete the in-line parking at the parking space.
