  • Publication number: 20020115350
Abstract: A connector 11 for a memory card comprises a housing 12, a plate 14, a guide plate 16, a lock mechanism 18, and a connector pin keeping part 20. When a memory card 24 is inserted in the full-lock position, a connector pin of the memory card 24 contacts a contacting part 40d of a connector pin 40 so as to press the contacting part 40d of the connector pin 40 downward. Thus, a reading and writing of data available a loading operation of the memory card 24. At this time, after a lock member 56 of the lock mechanism 18 moved in the inserting direction while fitting in the concavity 32 of the memory card 24, the memory card 24 is prevented from being pulled out since the lock member 56 of the lock mechanism 18 is restricted from the moving in the lock releasing direction by a restriction part 14o of the plate 14.

  • Publication number: 20020115320
Abstract: A connector 11 for a memory card comprises a housing 12, a plate 14, a guide plate 16, a lock mechanism 18, and a connector pin keeping part 20. When a memory card 24 is moved from the full-lock position by being pushed in an insertion direction (Ya direction) then further moved to the maximum insertion position, a mobile section 42B provided on a slider 54 contacts a fixed section 42A mounted on the connector pin keeping part 20. Accordingly, an eject operation detecting switch 42 turns on so that an eject operation detecting signal is output. Thus, a control circuit recognizes the eject operation of the memory card 24.

  • Publication number: 20020115351
Abstract: A connector for a memory card 11 comprises the housing 12, the plate 14, the guide plate 16, the lock system 18, and the connector pin keeping part 20. Because the connector pin keeping part 20 is formed as horizontally bridged to a rear surface of the housing 12, and also the press-fitting part 40d of the connector pin 40 is press-fitted with a perpendicular state, the connector for a memory card 11 not only can be miniaturized but also can achieve a reduced thickness by restricting an amount protruding to a rear side within a small volume. Therefore, because a shape of the connector pin 40 is bent like a L-shape and the fixing hole 20a of the connector pin keeping part 20 is extended in an up-down direction and formed in the housing 12, it can promote the miniaturization and reduced thickness of the connector for a memory card 11. As a result, reducing a weight of the connector for a memory card 11 can also be attained.

  • Publication number: 20020001017
Abstract: The present invention provides a plate-like protect member at a front surface of an ink jet printer head having an orifice which is capable of jetting ink. The protect member provides a step around the orifice having an outer portion higher than an inner portion. The protect member also provides an ink repellency layer on an outer portion of the step. Thus, the ink jet printer head of the present invention can prevent the jetted ink from the orifice to creep up toward back of the ink jet printer head which is reverse direction to the ink jetting direction.

  • Patent number: 6318171
Abstract: There is provided a flow rate sensor comprising: a pair of heating resistors operable to heat a sensor tube; a temperature sensor operable to control respective temperatures of the heating resistors; and a case operable to hold the heating resistors and the temperature sensor. The flow rate sensor is adapted to detect a flow rate of a fluid flowing in the sensor tube based on variations of voltages applied to the heating resistors, wherein the variations occur according to the flow rate of the fluid. The flow rate sensor further comprises a voltage applying device operable to arbitrarily set an increase in temperature of each of the heating resistors. The sensor tube has opposite ends thereof thermally connected to the case. The temperature sensor is positioned to be equidistant from the opposite ends of the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20010017591
Abstract: In a vehicle backward movement assisting apparatus for in-line parking, at a stop position of a vehicle, a seesaw switch is manipulated until an in-line guide line is superimposed on a target point which is a corner of a frame of a parking space, and a steering wheel is turned until the vehicle space mark is superimposed on the parking space, and the vehicle is moved backward while the steering angle of the steering wheel is held. When an eye mark is superimposed on the parking space, the vehicle is stopped, and the steering angle of the steering wheel is made maximum and the vehicle is moved backward, to thereby complete the in-line parking at the parking space.

  • Patent number: 6256520
Abstract: When a control section 8 of a mobile communication device detects a voltage drop of a battery during wireless data communication through packet transmission, the control section temporarily stops transmission in the state where reception is maintained. The mobile communication device receives power from a data terminal connected to the mobile communication device through a modem card. When an exchange of batteries is ended and a battery voltage is recovered, transmission is resumed. Transmission data during a period when the transmission is stopped, is stored in a RAM in the modem card.

  • Patent number: 6208861
Abstract: A mobile communication terminal is provided with a GPS receiver and detects a movement velocity of the mobile communication terminal based on GPS data. The period of time in which the channel condition of a radio channel is monitored is changed according to the movement velocity. The lower the movement velocity of the mobile communication terminal, the longer the period of time in which the radio channel is intermittently monitored. The radio channel is periodically monitored in a period of time changed according to the movement velocity of the mobile communication terminal. Channel switching is performed from a radio channel being used to a neighboring radio channel when the channel condition of the neighboring radio channel is better than that of the radio channel being used.

  • Patent number: 6178996
Abstract: An actuator utilizing the pressure of a gas is used to operate a diaphragm-operated control valve. An operating force generated by the actuator is varied by feeding and discharging a gas such as N2 through a narrow metallic tube. This is conducted by remote control, by means of electromagnetic valves provided in an environment at room temperature. The state of the control valve is monitored by a flow rate sensor which detects an actual flow rate of a fluid being controlled. Based on a signal representative of the detected actual flow rate, the electromagnetic valves for the actuator are controlled so that the fluid always flows at a desired flow rate. The gas such as N2 is heated by a heat exchanger in a high-temperature atmosphere in the vicinity of the actuator, to thereby prevent cooling of the fluid being controlled.

  • Patent number: 6152421
Abstract: A valve body includes: a main body having a recess formed in a surface thereof facing a valve seat. A sealing member fills the recess of the main body. The sealing member is made of annealed nickel. The annealed nickel has a low hardness, so that the sealing member is slightly depressed by abutment thereof against the valve seat. The sealing member is then hardened by further application of stresses. Therefore, complete sealing between the sealing member and the valve seat can be achieved.
