  • Patent number: 6585542
Abstract: A connector 11 for a memory card includes a housing 12, a plate 14, a guide plate 16, a lock mechanism 18, and a connector pin keeping part 20. When a memory card 24 is inserted in the full-lock position, a connector pin 28 of the memory card 24 contacts a contacting part 40d of a connector pin 40 so as to press the contacting part 40d of the connector pin 40 downward. Thus, a reading and writing of data available a loading operation of the memory card 24. At this time, after a lock member 56 of the lock mechanism 18 moved in the inserting direction while fitting in the concavity 32 of the memory card 24, the memory card 24 is prevented from being pulled out since the lock member 56 of the lock mechanism 18 is restricted from the moving in the lock releasing direction by a restriction part 14o of the plate 14.

  • Patent number: 6572217
Abstract: The present invention provides a plate-like protect member at a front surface of an ink jet printer head having an orifice which is capable of jetting ink. The protect member provides a step around the orifice having an outer portion higher than an inner portion. The protect member also provides an ink repellency layer on an outer portion of the step. Thus, the ink jet printer head of the present invention can prevent the jetted ink from the orifice to creep up toward back of the ink jet printer head which is reverse direction to the ink jetting direction.

  • Patent number: 6547374
Abstract: The present invention provides an ink jet printer head having a pressure chamber to jet ink by deformation of a piezoelectric member provided in the pressure chamber. The piezoelectric member has an electrode for applying electricity to the piezoelectric member. The present invention provides an insulation layer on the electrode formed by vapor deposition method, which has high adhesion and throwing power. Thus, a plurality of electrodes can be covered by the insulation layer even though these electrodes are not provided on the same plane. Accordingly, the ink jet printer head can be used for a long time in steady without deterioration of the piezoelectric member and the ink in case of using conductive ink like water ink.

  • Patent number: 6494957
Abstract: The vaporizing apparatus comprises a disk portion in which a plurality of sheet disks are provided in a stacked configuration, with a top disk being provided on a top of the sheet disks. Each of the sheet disks has a thin sheetlike form and includes a through-hole at a central portion thereof. A shaft extends through these openings and supports the sheet disks and the top disk. The disk portion is accommodated in a chamber formed on a base. A liquid is introduced through a flow passage into the openings of the sheet disks of the disk portion in the chamber. Heaters are provided within the base. A piezoactuator is provided so as to bias the disk portion in the chamber from a side of the top disk. The piezoactuator adjusts the gaps between the disks and opening/closing of the flow passage.
