  • Patent number: 11425897
Abstract: A remote notification electronic rodent trapping system and method is provided having a plurality of rearming electronic rodent trapping devices configured to wirelessly communicate trap information to a base station that is in communication with a cloud server. When a trap is activated by a rodent trigger it changes from a set state to a kill alert state and initiates a killing cycle. The trap waits a first time period and then sends a notification signal to the base station of trap activation which the base station forwards to the cloud server. The cloud server waits a second predetermined time period before sending a pushed notification to a remote user of the trap's kill alert state. If the trap rearms prior to expiration of the second time period, it alerts the base station which notifies the cloud server. The cloud server updates trap status to the set state and does not send a notification to the user.

Abstract: An electronic rodent trap and monitoring method is provided. Each trap has at least one entrance, and preferably two entrances in opposed relationship to create a longitudinal tunnel, with a pair of lower plates extending longitudinally and oriented in spaced substantially parallel relationship, and a triggering element, such as a third plate, positioned above the lower plates, and preferably adjacent the ceiling of the trap on a center baffle that also shields a bait cup. The trap is activated when the rodent, with its left and right feet on the parallel lower plates, which are preferably raised above the floor, contacts the triggering element on the center baffle. The trap is preferably modular in design with an electronics module and a tunnel module removably secured within and protected by an outer housing. The trap also has improved features for more accurate remote monitoring of rodent dispatch and kill verification including long range monitoring capability.

  • Patent number: 11271911
Abstract: A method is disclosed for securely transferring a private key from the user device to an operating device. A proximity-based communication interface is provided between the user and operating devices. The user device is operable to store a private key. The user device requests an identifying code from the operating device, which is then validated by the user device as a valid private key receiving device. The user device is operable to access a predetermined physical interface on the operating device and, in conjunction with access, activate the physical interface to initialize a transfer operation across the communication interface that is dependent upon accessing the physical interface. The stored private key is then transferred to the operating device across the communication interface for storage in a dedicated memory location on the operating device, the transfer operation being a one-way Write-only memory transfer operation.
