  • Patent number: 12374188
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide entertainment gaming systems and methods comprising, among other things, a real world non-random number outcome generator machine and an entertainment gaming machine wherein the non-random outcome from the real world non-random number generator machine is processed into an entertainment gaming machine outcome. The entertainment gaming system and method of embodiments of the invention may be configured to collect non-random number based outcome from a real-world event and transmitting it to the entertainment gaming machine. The non-random number outcome from the real-world is processed into an entertainment gaming machine outcome event by the entertaining game machine processor or by the central server.

  • Patent number: 12354043
Abstract: An automated system attempts to characterize code as safe or unsafe. For intermediate code samples not placed with sufficient confidence in either category, human-readable analysis is automatically generated to assist a human reviewer in reaching a final disposition. For example, a random forest over human-interpretable features may be created and used to identify suspicious features in a manner that is understandable to, and actionable by, a human reviewer. Similarly, a k-nearest neighbor algorithm may be used to identify similar samples of known safe and unsafe code based on a model for, e.g., a file path, a URL, an executable, and so forth. Similar code may then be displayed (with other information) to a user for evaluation in a user interface. This comparative information can improve the speed and accuracy of human interventions by providing richer context for human review of potential threats.

  • Patent number: 12341808
Abstract: A bot detection service is enhanced by providing improved threat scoring using dynamic clustering of telemetry data received from a server. The detection approach leverages the notion that bot traffic is statistically anomalous compared to empirical models of human traffic. In particular, bots have more similar and repeating network patterns (i.e., lists of field values derived from client telemetry) that lend themselves to tighter clustering than random human traffic. The technique herein leverages this notion by providing a bot detection service with a network pattern clustering algorithm that differentiates bot-versus-human traffic by searching for similar and repeating network patterns that cluster together by virtue of having lesser variation (as compared to human traffic) in their field value sets.

  • Publication number: 20250199970
Abstract: Memory having internal processors, and methods of data communication within such a memory are provided. In one embodiment, an internal processor may concurrently access one or more banks on a memory array on a memory device via one or more buffers. The internal processor may be coupled to a buffer capable of accessing more than one bank, or coupled to more than one buffer that may each access a bank, such that data may be retrieved from and stored in different banks concurrently. Further, the memory device may be configured for communication between one or more internal processors through couplings between memory components, such as buffers coupled to each of the internal processors. Therefore, a multi-operation instruction may be performed by different internal processors, and data (such as intermediate results) from one internal processor may be transferred to another internal processor of the memory, enabling parallel execution of an instruction(s).

  • Patent number: 12283173
Abstract: A device may include a body at least partially defining a cavity configured to receive and retain a tracking device. An attachment mechanism connected to the body may have: a first arm configured to slide inward towards a centerline of the body from a first side, a second arm configured to oppose the first arm and slide inward towards the centerline of the body from a second side, and a tamperproof screw removably connecting the first arm to the second arm such that rotation of the screw adjusts a distance between the first arm and the second arm, wherein at least a portion of an item to be tracked is configured to be retained between the first arm and the second arm, and wherein, when the attachment mechanism retains the body in an engaged state, the tracking device coupling mechanism is immobilized with respect to the item to be tracked.

  • Patent number: 12273382
Abstract: Security is improved by adding a security heartbeat for and endpoint as a factor in a multi-factor authentication system. The security heartbeat may be used directly as an authentication factor, e.g., where the heartbeat provides a reliable and verifiable indication of identity, or the security heartbeat may be used as a gating input for some other verification method, e.g., where a text message with a temporary security code can only be transmitted to a user when the user's endpoint is providing a secure heartbeat.

  • Publication number: 20250108382
Abstract: A disposable cassette for detecting nucleic acids or performing other assays. The cassette can be inserted into a base station during use. The cassette has numerous features to ensure correct operation of the device under gravity, such as vent pockets for enabling the flow of sample fluid from one chamber to the next when the vent pocket is unsealed. The vent pockets have protrusions to help prevent accidental resealing. The cassette also can have a gasket to ensure free air movement between open vent pockets. A flexible circuit with patterned metallic electrical components disposed on a heat stable material can be in direct contact with fluid in the chambers and has resistive heating elements aligned with the vent pockets and the chambers.

  • Patent number: 12261824
Abstract: An application executing on an endpoint accesses remote resources using a gateway. In response to a requested remote access, the application may be marked with a descriptor that specifies a target action and a pattern of occurrences of the target action. When a second observable action on the endpoint includes the pattern of events following the first observable action, a reportable event may be generated indicating a compromised state of the endpoint. The gateway can then regulate usage of the remote resource based on the reportable event.
