  • Patent number: 12041067
Abstract: When security-related behavior is detected on an endpoint, e.g., through a local security agent executing on the endpoint, a threat management facility associated with the endpoint can interact with a user via a second local security agent on a second endpoint in order to solicit verification, authorization, authentication or the like related to the behavior. In one aspect, an administrator for an enterprise managed by the threat management facility may verify, authorize, or otherwise approve the detected behavior using this technique. In another aspect, a user of the device may use this infrastructure to approve of a potentially risky behavior on one device by using a verification procedure on a second device associated with the user.

  • Patent number: 12026276
Abstract: An endpoint in an enterprise network is instrumented with sensors to detect security-related events occurring on the endpoint. Event data from these sensors is augmented with contextual information about, e.g., a source of each event in order to facilitate improved correlation, analysis, and visualization at a threat management facility for the enterprise network.

  • Patent number: 12023672
Abstract: A lateral flow assay device of the present disclosure has numerous features to ensure correct operation of the device under gravity, such as vent pockets for enabling the flow of sample fluid from one chamber to the next when the vent pocket is unsealed. The vent pockets have protrusions to help prevent accidental resealing. The device also can have a gasket to ensure free air movement between open vent pockets. Flow control features that protrude horizontally into a chamber proximal to an outlet act to deflect the flow to the side of the chamber opposite from the outlet, prior to the flow entering the outlet. Such features can reduce the flow velocity of the sample fluid and increase the effective fluid flow path length, enhance mixing of reagents with a sample, and enabling more accurate control of fluid flow in the device.

  • Publication number: 20240214420
Abstract: A firewall uses information about an application that originates a network request to determine whether and how to forward the request over a network. The firewall may more generally rely on the identity of the originating application, the security state of the originating application, the security state of the endpoint, and any other information that might provide an indication of malicious activity, to make routing and forwarding decisions for endpoint-originated network traffic.

  • Publication number: 20240210503
Abstract: A radio frequency amplifier system for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus has a radio frequency power amplifier configured to transmit a B1 radiofrequency signal to a patient coil present in the MRI apparatus and a first directional coupler that splits the B1 signal from the amplifier into a transmitted B1 signal and a B1 error signal. A circulator transmits the transmitted B1 signal to a patient coil, and receives and transmits a reflected B1 signal and an MRI signal from the patient coil. The signals received from the patient coil are fed to a control loop. The components of the control loop modify the B1 error signal so that the B1 error signal cancels the B1 reflected signal such that the transmitted signal consists only of the MRI signal without a B1 signal, which is then sent to a low noise MRI signal amplifier and on for diagnostic analysis.

  • Patent number: 12021831
Abstract: A gateway or other network device may be configured to monitor endpoint behavior, and to request a verification of user presence at the endpoint under certain conditions suggesting, e.g., malware or other endpoint compromise. For example, when a network request is directed to a low-reputation or unknown network address, user presence may be verified to ensure that this action was initiated by a human user rather than automatically by malware or the like. User verification may be implicit, based on local behavior such as keyboard or mouse activity, or the user verification may be explicit, such as where a notification is presented on a display of the endpoint requesting user confirmation to proceed.

  • Patent number: 12020584
Abstract: A method includes repeatedly determining a distance of an aircraft from a landing location. The method also includes, during a first stage in which the aircraft is at least a threshold distance from the landing location, performing iono-free processing during navigation of the aircraft. The method further includes, during a second stage in which the aircraft is less than the threshold distance from the landing location and a velocity of the aircraft is greater than a velocity threshold, performing divergence-free processing during navigation of the aircraft to address possible ionospheric threats. In addition, the method includes, during a third stage in which the aircraft is less than the threshold distance from the landing location and the velocity of the aircraft is less than the velocity threshold, calculating one or more floor values for a Differential Ionospheric Correction (DIC) sigma, and determining a navigation solution to protect against nominal ionospheric conditions.

  • Publication number: 20240181256
Abstract: Presented herein are techniques in which a specific branch of the vagal nerve that extends to the car, referred to as the auricular branch of the vagal nerve (ABVN), is stimulated via an implantable stimulator. Described herein are implantable stimulation assembly arrangements for implantation adjacent to the auricular branch of the vagal nerve, and use of the implantable stimulating assembly arrangements in order to electrically stimulate the auricular branch of the vagal nerve.

  • Publication number: 20240180554
Abstract: A surgical instrument includes a decoupling mechanism and a loading unit. The decoupling mechanism includes a driver coupling, an overstroke sled, a proximal driver, and a distal driver. The overstroke sled includes bosses configured to slidably engage slots of the driver coupling. The distal driver is coupled to a housing of the driver coupling for concomitant rotation therewith. A drive assembly of the loading unit is coupled to the distal driver such that rotation of the distal driver causes axial displacement of the drive assembly. The decoupling mechanism is transitionable between a first state, in which, rotation of the proximal driver of the decoupling mechanism rotates the driver coupling and the distal driver, thereby advancing the drive assembly, and a second state, in which, rotation of the proximal driver disengages the overstroke sled from the driver coupling to enable rotation of the overstroke sled relative to the driver coupling.

  • Publication number: 20240184724
Abstract: Memory having internal processors, and methods of data communication within such a memory are provided. In one embodiment, an internal processor may concurrently access one or more banks on a memory array on a memory device via one or more buffers. The internal processor may be coupled to a buffer capable of accessing more than one bank, or coupled to more than one buffer that may each access a bank, such that data may be retrieved from and stored in different banks concurrently. Further, the memory device may be configured for communication between one or more internal processors through couplings between memory components, such as buffers coupled to each of the internal processors. Therefore, a multi-operation instruction may be performed by different internal processors, and data (such as intermediate results) from one internal processor may be transferred to another internal processor of the memory, enabling parallel execution of an instruction(s).

  • Patent number: 11995205
Abstract: A threat management facility stores a number of entity models that characterize reportable events from one or more entities. A stream of events from compute instances within an enterprise network can then be analyzed using these entity models to detect behavior that is inconsistent or anomalous for one or more of the entities that are currently active within the enterprise network.
