  • Publication number: 20250141132
Abstract: A substrate includes a first edge and a second edge opposite the first edge. A plurality of first edge pins are positioned proximate the first edge, where a first subset of the first edge pins is positioned at a first distance from the first edge, and a second subset of the first edge pins is positioned at a second distance from the first edge different than the first distance. A plurality of second edge pins are positioned proximate the second edge, where a first subset of the second edge pins is positioned at a first distance from the second edge, and a second subset of the second edge pins is positioned at a second distance from the second edge different than the first distance, thereby providing a connector having a staggered pin arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20250124455
Abstract: Methods and computer-readable media for providing customer issue troubleshooting are provided. Customer service representatives may use the graphical user interface (GUI) to more effectively diagnose issues subscribers may be experiencing with the network service. The GUI provides a window containing diagnostic segments displayed on a computer screen. The window is monitored to detect a selection of a diagnostic segment. The diagnostic segments provide categories of possible network service issues and include: a coverage segment, a voice segment, a data segment, and a device segment. Once a diagnostic segment has been selected the window automatically displays the diagnostic result. In addition, information on a network service degradation event may be displayed on an event timeline segment of the window. The window also provides segments for customer information, recommendations to the customer, and a slider allowing adjusting of a date timeline for network service disruptions.

  • Patent number: 12161245
Abstract: A reservoir of a liquid heating appliance includes a first chamber and a second chamber, separated by a partition. A heating arrangement is arranged to heat liquid in the first chamber. A first valve, a second valve and a float valve are disposed in the partition to selectively allow liquid to flow between the first and second chambers. Respective lines joining the first and second valves to a center of the partition have an obtuse angular separation. The first and second valves are selectively closed by a valve closure member. The float valve includes a floating valve member arranged to float and mate with a valve seat to prevent the flow of liquid. A liquid outlet in the first chamber connects with a dispense outlet on the appliance to allow liquid to be dispensed when the first and second valves are closed.

  • Publication number: 20240301560
Abstract: A method of coating an automotive part for an electric drive unit is provided. The method comprises providing a part comprising a body having an outer surface and introducing the part in an aqueous coating solution comprising sodium metabisulfite and citric acid to form residual oxides on the outer surface defining a sample-water interface. The method further comprises emitting ultrasonic waves in the coating solution to generate acoustic cavitation activity at the sample-water interface and continuously form oxygen and hydrogen species. The citric acid arranged to activate the outer surface to allow for the reaction with the oxygen and hydrogen species forming iron hydroxide. The sodium metabisulfite arranged to react with the iron hydroxide generating iron oxysulfide such that the iron oxysulfide reacts with the oxygen and hydrogen species to produce iron oxide and iron sulfide on the outer surface defining a black oxide coating.

  • Publication number: 20240257189
Abstract: A donation workflow with donation screens is integrated into a transaction workflow of a transaction terminal. The donation workflow is independent and separate from the transaction workflow. When a customer enters a donation into a donation entry screen, an agent on the terminal provides the donation amount to a transaction manager of the terminal. The donation amount is added as a line item to the transaction total. After payment, the fiat currency associated with the donation amount is used to purchase an equivalent amount in cryptocurrency over a blockchain and held in a store wallet of a store. The equivalent amount in cryptocurrency is subsequently transferred over the blockchain from the store wallet to a charity's wallet associated with the charity that is to receive the donation amount from the customer.

  • Publication number: 20240037641
Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) model images for menu item are maintained in a content delivery network (CDN) along with codes. The codes are printed/affixed to menus adjacent to the menu items. The menus include an anchor object that is sized in proportion to plates that serve the menu items. A user operates an augmented reality (AR)-enabled application (app) and uses a gesture to identify a code associated with a menu item from a menu. The code is decoded to contact the CDN and obtain the 3D model image corresponding to the menu item. The user centers a view-finder over the anchor object on the menu and the 3D model image is rendered on the anchor object in a scaled size and a scaled proportion for what will be provided to the user. The user may spin the 3D model to inspect proportions and ingredients of the menu item through the app.

Abstract: A liquid heating appliance including a reservoir including a first and second chambers and a heating arrangement is provided. A mode valve is arranged to selectively allow liquid to flow between the first and second chambers. The appliance operates in a first mode in which the mode valve is closed and only liquid in the first chamber is heated and a second mode in which the mode valve is open and liquid in the first and second chambers is heated. A dispense outlet is moveable between a dispensing position and a non-dispensing position. The dispense outlet is mechanically coupled to the mode valve such that when the dispense outlet is moved into the dispense position, the mechanical coupling closes the mode valve and when the dispense outlet is moved into the non-dispensing position, the mechanical coupling opens the valve.

  • Publication number: 20230029770
Abstract: A mobile device establishes an indirect network connection to a User Interface (UI) agent of a terminal. The indirect connection managed as a mobile navigational control session maintained through a server or through the server and a proxy. A keyboard widget/object and a navigation-selection widget/object are rendered within a mobile screen on a display of the mobile device. During the session, a user interacts with the keyboard and/or navigation-selection widgets and corresponding UI key events are forwarded to the UI agent. The UI agent provides the UI key events as Human Interface Device (HID) key events to the terminal causing a transaction interface to update transaction screens being rendered on a transaction display of the terminal during a transaction. The user conducts the transaction at the terminal without touching the transaction display and controls the transaction screens for the transaction via the keyboard and navigational widgets from the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20220335467
Abstract: Location information for a user-operated device is obtained or location information associated with a transaction terminal is obtained. A store associated with the location is resolved based on the location information. Loyalty identifiers for a user who operates the device are identified. The loyalty identifiers are used to obtain a loyalty account of the user with the store and the location information is used to identify a transaction that the user is engaged in at the store. A loyalty account number for the loyalty account is dynamically injected into a transaction workflow for the transaction without requiring entry of the loyalty identifiers or the loyalty account number by the user or a cashier who may be performing the transaction on behalf of the user.

  • Patent number: 11475018
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices supporting determining user and data record relationships based on vector space embeddings are described. Some database systems may receive data record access indications corresponding to data records accessed by users. A database system may generate, based on the data record access indications, user sessions for the users, data record sessions for the data records, or a combination for users and data records. For example, a user session may correspond to a respective user and include a record identifier associated with each data record accessed by the user. The system may generate, in a vector space, vectors from the sessions using an embedding operation, where each vector corresponds to a respective user or data record. The system may determine relationships between the users, data records, or both based on the vectors and may transmit an indication of at least one data record based on the relationships.
