  • Publication number: 20120191495
Abstract: A web-based tire management system tracks both tire-related and vehicle-related information for multiple fleets and for multiple models and brands of tires to enable sophisticated analysis of tire-related issues to be performed on behalf of individual fleets, as well as for tire dealers and manufacturers.

  • Publication number: 20120101894
Abstract: The invention includes methods and systems for use with a redemption campaign of an issuer implemented via a real-time redemption network (“RRN”), with RRN being connected to a credit/debit transaction network, and implemented via a mobile message system for an account of a cardholder having a mobile device connected to the mobile messaging system. The cardholder receives marketing engagements of a redemption campaign via a cardholder mobile device based on an approved credit/debit card transaction and having a points account associated with the card.

  • Publication number: 20120095855
Abstract: Systems and methods for effecting mobile purchases and removing the necessity of financial and personal information exchange directly between buyers and sellers, where the buyer uses a personal mobile device to effect payment. Instead of using sensitive and/or easily compromised data to perform a transaction, the seller posts the purchase amount to a proxy system for recognition and claiming by the buyer. The buyer claims the purchase by selecting it via a mobile device. The seller receives a confirmation of purchase from the proxy system without direct interaction with the buyer's mobile device or personal information. The seller's point of sale no longer acts as a point of acceptance and thus no longer requires sensitive information exchange directly with the buyer.

  • Patent number: 8030526
Abstract: Isotopically labeled formaldehyde (*C§H2O) is prepared from labeled methyl iodide (*C§H3I) by reaction with an oxygen nucleophile having a pendant leaving group. The mild and efficient reaction conditions result in good yields of *C§H2O with little or no *C isotopic dilution. The simple, efficient production of 11CH2O is described. The use of the 11CH2O for the formation of positron emission tomography tracer compounds is described. The reaction can be incorporated into automated equipment available to radiochemistry laboratories. The isotopically labeled formaldehyde can be used in a variety of reactions to provide radiotracer compounds for imaging studies as well as for scintillation counting and autoradiography.

  • Patent number: 7927397
Abstract: A concentrated separator by-product and fish soluble by-product based fertilizer product is created by mixing concentrated separator by-product, a by-product of the de-sugaring of beet molasses, and fish soluble by-product, a by-product of the production of fish meal. The raw mixture of concentrated separator by-product and fish soluble by-product is then heat treated and optionally filtered to remove suspended particular matter. The heat treated mixture of concentrated separator by-product and fish soluble by-product is then cooled to yield the concentrated separator by-product and fish soluble by-product based fertilizer product.

  • Patent number: 5664076
Abstract: An apparatus and method for forming a scannable form on a blank sheet from a data file. A computer is operated thereby signaling a printer to print a scannable form having a series of timing marks and further having data derived from the data file including a plurality of indicators of spaces to be optionally marked for scanning. Each of the indicators is aligned with one of the timing marks and with a scan head position for scanning of marked indicator spaces in order that the form as printed by the printer may advantageously be in finished scannable form. The data including the plurality of indicators is preferably heuristically best-fitted for printing on the form.
