  • Publication number: 20240089753
Abstract: Techniques are described that detect areas with insufficient radio frequency (RF) coverage in a wireless network. A network management system (NMS) determines one or more service level expectation (SLE) metrics for each client device in a wireless network. The SLE metrics are aggregated to each access point (AP) in the wireless network, and each AP is assigned an AP score based on the aggregated SLE metrics. To identify potential coverage holes, the NMS groups APs having poor AP scores. If a root cause of the poor AP scores cannot be automatically resolved and if the poor AP scores persist for a predetermined period of time, the group of APs is determined to represent a true coverage hole. The NMS may generate a notification regarding recommended corrective actions to the customer and/or IT personnel.

  • Patent number: 11880808
Abstract: In one embodiment, a unique (or quasi unique) identifier can be received by an application store, or other on-line store, and the store can create a signed receipt that includes data desired from the unique identifier. This signed receipt is then transmitted to a device that is running the application obtained from the on-line store and the device can verify the receipt by deriving the unique (or quasi-unique) identifier from the signed receipt and comparing the derived identifier with the device identifier stored on the device, or the vendor identifier assigned to the application vendor.

  • Publication number: 20240002081
Abstract: A system including a vessel for containing a fill material and a vibration source connected to the vessel. The vibration source can increase a bulk density of the fill material. A fill material ratio can be defined as a particle density of the fill material divided by the bulk density of the fill material after vibration. • Publication number: 20240003706
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for automatic generation and distribution of curbside map data. A server receives municipal regulation data from an external source, and processes the municipal regulation data to generate curbside map data. The server also transmits a message conveying at least a portion (e.g. relevant portion based on request) of the curbside map data to a client computing device. By obtaining and processing the municipal regulation data, the curbside map data can be generated and distributed without time consuming and error prone disadvantages of manual surveying.

  • Publication number: 20230401687
Abstract: The invention advances the ratio method of phosphor thermography using two machine vision cameras for full-field temperature measurements of a solid surface. As an example, algorithms from digital image correlation (DIC) can be used to determine the stereoscopic imaging system intrinsic and extrinsic parameters, and accurately register material points on the sample to subpixel locations in each image with 0.07 px or better accuracy. A phosphor calibration sample fabricated using aerosol deposition can be used for in situ determination of the temperature-versus-intensity ratio relationship. The full calibration methodology and several improvements on two-color phosphor thermography open the door for full-field temperature measurements in dynamic tests with deforming test specimens.

  • Publication number: 20230388819
Abstract: Techniques are described by which a network management system (NMS) receives, from a plurality of access points (APs) configured to provide a wireless network, received signal strength indicator (RSSI) values. The NMS generates, based on the RSSI values, a graph of the plurality of APs, wherein the graph of the plurality of APs includes a plurality of clusters, wherein each cluster comprises a subset of the plurality of APs that are grouped based on strength of connectivity between the subset of the plurality of APs. The NMS generates, based on the graph, an upgrade plan to upgrade the plurality of APs, wherein the upgrade plan comprises a plurality of batches, wherein each batch includes a selection of at least one AP from each of one or more of the plurality of clusters. The NMS sends the upgrade plan to an orchestrator to execute the upgrade plan.

  • Publication number: 20230330915
Abstract: A variety of thermoplastic parts are provided with precise micro-scale features and long-range macro-scale reproducibility. By combining the advantages of rigid tool molding and soft tooling into a hybrid tooling, complex and challenging microfeatures can be created in thermoplastic parts with remarkable positional accuracy and reproducibility. The parts described herein can demonstrate orders of magnitude smaller inter-part variations and order of magnitude smaller variations with respect to a master part as compared to conventional hard and soft tooling methods. In some aspects, a plurality of thermoplastic parts having precision micro-scale features and reproducible macro-scale dimensions are provided wherein the precision micro-scale features on each part comprise at least one challenging microfeature; and wherein a mean normalized displacement of the micro-scale features is about or less when measured between the parts in the plurality of thermoplastic parts.
