  • Patent number: 11330486
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for improved wireless terminal roaming. In some embodiments, a management module determines access point density metrics for a plurality of centrally managed access points of a communications site. The density metric considers an average RSSI of access point signals received by other access points of the site, and each access point's contribution to the average. A determination of whether a particular wireless terminal roams is based on the density metrics of the source and target access point, as well as statistics relating to a current capacity of each of the access points. The disclosed embodiments may determine that a wireless terminal should transition/roam away from an access point even when that access point's RSSI value at the wireless terminal is above a threshold that would cause traditional methods to inhibit roaming.

  • Publication number: 20220128298
Abstract: Embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for pre-cooling a natural gas stream to a liquefaction plant. A system may include a compressor configured to receive a first natural gas stream at a first pressure and produce a second natural gas stream at a second pressure; an exchanger, wherein the exchanger is configured to receive the second natural gas stream as the second pressure and cool the second natural gas stream to produce a cooled natural gas stream; and an expander, wherein the expander is configured to receive the cooled natural gas stream and expand the cooled natural gas stream to produce a chilled natural gas stream from the second pressure to a third pressure. An LNG liquefaction plant system, wherein the refrigeration content of the external or internal refrigerant is used to liquefy and sub-cool a natural gas stream to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a cold box or cryogenic exchanger.

  • Patent number: 11308432
Abstract: An approach is provided for generating an interface. Using natural language processing and natural language understanding, ingredients are derived from audio data from a customer's spoken order of ingredients of a food item. Locations of the ingredients in a preparation area are identified. A location of an employee is determined. Distances of the ingredient locations to the employee location are calculated. A sequence of selecting the ingredients is determined so that the employee selecting the ingredients in the sequence optimizes a speed at which the food item is prepared. An overlay to an interface for viewing in an augmented reality (AR) headset worn by the employee is generated and displayed. The overlay includes indicators overlaying an image of the preparation area. The indicators mark the ingredients, mark the sequence of selecting the ingredients, and distinguish the ingredients from other ingredients in the preparation area.

  • Publication number: 20220107713
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer program product, and a computer system for dynamically adjusting zoom settings in a multiple user environment. A server determines whether the multiple user environment is an environment of co-located users or an environment of distributed users. In response to determining the environment of the co-located users, the server determines an aggregated preference, determines an optimal zoom setting for a singular display based on the aggregated preference, and adjusts the singular display based on the optimal zoom setting for the singular display. In response to determining the environment of the distributed users, the server determines optimal zoom settings for respective ones of the multiple displays, based on preferences of respective ones of the distributed users, and the server adjusts the respective ones of the multiple displays, based on the optimal zoom settings for the respective ones of the multiple displays.

  • Publication number: 20220101248
Abstract: Identifying and reducing package delivery risks can include receiving, at a computer, package delivery data for a package to be delivered. Package delivery factors can be determined which include package fragility. Product information and product reviews can be analyzed based on the factors, and the analyzing can include using natural language processing to evaluate the product information and product reviews to identify language related to the factors. The factors can be weighted based on the analysis of the product information and the product reviews based on a probability of risk of damage to the package. A package risk score is calculated based on the analysis and the weighting. A best delivery practice for the package is generated based on the package risk score, and the package risk score and best delivery practice is communicated to a device of a delivery person.

  • Patent number: 11194704
Abstract: A method for testing a system under test (SUT) in an active environment includes generating, by a testing system, several tests for testing the SUT. The tests are generated based on a coverage model of the SUT, which includes multiple attributes. The method further includes creating, by the testing system, a minimal set of tests from the tests by selecting tests that do not exceed a predetermined performance threshold. The method further includes executing, by the testing system, the minimal set of tests on the SUT for analyzing a soft failure of the SUT in the active environment. The soft failure occurs in the active environment during execution of the SUT based at least in part on a performance parameter of the active environment.

  • Patent number: 11167948
Abstract: A waterproof rolling paper dispensing apparatus which comprises an inner cylinder which is closed at one end and open at an opposite end thereof. The inner cylinder has an elongate slit and supports a cutting edge which facilitates cutting of a length of rolling paper from a continuous roll of rolling paper accommodated within the inner cylinder. An exterior housing is dosed at one end and open at an opposite end thereof. The exterior housing defines an internal storage compartment which stores the inner cylinder. An end cover releasably engages with the open end of the exterior housing and forms a waterproof seal therewith. The end cover also releasably engages with the open end of the inner cylinder so that when the end cover is removed from engagement with the exterior housing, the inner cylinder remains coupled to the end cover and is removed with the end cover.

  • Patent number: 11139858
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communication management. A set of sensor data can be collected by a first device paired to a second device using a wireless communication (WC) protocol. The set of sensor data can be analyzed to determine whether a rule for adjusting a WC activation threshold is satisfied, the WC activation threshold defining a distance at which the first device and second device are permitted to transfer data to each other. The WC activation threshold can be adjusted in response to determining that the rule for adjusting the WC activation threshold is satisfied.
