Abstract: A method for performing resource offloading in an M2M system is provided. The method is performed based on an offloaded resource and offloaded attributes. The method includes generating an offloading request message that requests offloading of a source resource. In response to the offloading request message, the method includes offloading the source resource for which the offloading is requested. An offloaded resource is generated using the offloaded source resource. Herein, the offloaded resource includes synchronization modes designating synchronization methods with the offloaded source resource as offloaded attributes.

Abstract: An operation method is provided for deleting a resource in an M2M system. The operation method includes receiving a first deletion request message requesting deletion of a resource from a counterpart M2M apparatus and transmitting a first deletion response message for the first deletion request message to the counterpart M2M apparatus. A second deletion request message is received that requests deletion of the resource from the counterpart M2M apparatus and the resource is deleted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a complex event processing managing method and apparatus in M2M system. The complex event processing (CEP) managing method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes receiving a CEP request, setting an event processing resource (eventProcessing) responding to the CEP request, and, when an event corresponding to the event processing resource occurs, triggering a corresponding action. In addition, the action is managed by a preset event rule.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method and procedure for processing protection data for protecting data privacy in an M2M system. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an M2M apparatus located in an M2M platform in an M2M system includes a communicator configured to transmit and receive a signal and a processor configured to control the communicator. Herein, the processor generates a resource at a resource generation request for administering data received by the communicator, generates a resource at a resource generation request for storing the data received by the communicator, determines whether the data received by the communicator are protection data, and when the data are determined as protection data, performs data processing for privacy protection.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing an edge transfer according to the movement of a device are provided. The method includes receiving a handover decision and handover information from a network, when a device performs the handover and a network function virtualization instance of the source edge is transferred to the target edge. The method then transfers an M2M service instance of the source edge to an M2M edge node.

The method according to one embodiment includes sending, by a server, a session continuity operator policy to a first terminal. The session continuity operator policy includes a parameter indicating a preferred network for a transfer of the ongoing session, and session continuity level information including one of a first level and a second level. The method according to the embodiment further includes receiving, by the server, a first session invite message for one of full media transfer and partial media transfer, unless the session continuity level information of the session continuity operator policy is the second level and the first terminal decides not to start the session transfer; and sending, by the server, a second session invite message to the second terminal to achieve session continuity with the first terminal after receiving the first session invite message.

The first connection path is established between the network and the second device through the first device, and is used for conveying control information for the service. Abstract: A method for transmitting information in a wireless communication system and a wireless communication terminal supporting the method, are discussed. In one embodiment, when an application server sends to a receiving terminal a specific message for checking radio environment information or a message including a radio environment capability, the receiving terminal having received the message may send a response message with its own radio environment information to the application server, such that the radio environment information related to the receiving terminal can be sent to the sending terminal after analyzed by the application server.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for selecting and managing a mobility protocol between a network and a terminal in a mobile communication system. When the terminal is to setup an IP tunnel for data transmission/reception with the network supporting a plurality of mobility protocols, firstly, the terminal is configured to transmit a list of terminal-supported mobility protocols and/or its preference information (e.g., information about mobility protocol preferred by the terminal) to the network, and secondly, the network is configured to determine (select) a mobility protocol of an IP tunnel for data transmission/reception with the terminal based on the information, thereby enhancing an efficiency of the resource when the IP tunnel is setup between the terminal and the network.

Abstract: A method and a terminal are described for providing a circuit switched (CS) service, a session initiation protocol (SIP)-based service, or a CSI service which is a combination of the CS service and an Internet Protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) service. The terminal may receive a terminal capability version of at least one target terminal, and compare the received terminal capability version with a previously stored terminal capability version of the at least one target terminal. The terminal may send a message for requesting for terminal capability information of the at least one target terminal, if the received terminal capability version of the at least one target terminal is different from the previously stored terminal capability version of the at least one target terminal based on the comparison result. Otherwise, a CS or IMS process is implemented.

Abstract: A method for handling CS (Circuit Switching) calls in a VCC (Voice Call Continuity), a VCC application server and an apparatus thereof, wherein first, the VCC application identifies whether a called party number of CS domain calls routed thereto is in an international format, secondly, the VCC application may request to convert the format of the called party number into the international format (referred to as ‘routable number’) if the called party number is not in the international format, thirdly, a translation entity may convert the called party number into the routable number by adding an international prefix suitable for a current location of the originating terminal based on both the called party number and location information on the originating terminal, and then the calls may continue in an IMS domain or a CS domain by the routable number.
