Abstract: Controlled Payment Numbers (CPNs) which issue as a unique payment number for each transaction uniquely identify the transaction for matching the purchase and payment information. The issuance of the CPN is controlled by business rules which are designed to and effectively restrict the use of the CPN, such that if a user exceeds his authorization, a CPN is not issued. The business rules are set up according to a hierarchy of users. Further, a declining balance CPN is also provided.

Abstract: A rating is calculated that represents the traffic conditions of a specified driving route. A driving route is specified that includes a plurality of different roads. The traffic conditions for each of the different roads of the driving route are obtained. A rating is then calculated for the driving route that is based on the traffic conditions for each of the different roads of the driving route.

Abstract: A system for packaging a flat panel product includes a dispensing device for dispensing a length of inner protective packaging material, a folding table for wrapping the inner protective packaging material around the product and folding an outer protective packaging material around the product, and a binding device for binding the outer packaging material, inner packaging material, and product together, suspending the product relative to at least one of the walls of the sidewall and supporting the product laterally. A data entry device provides data related to the length of inner protective packaging material required, and this data is fed to a controller, which controls the dispensing device to provide an appropriate length of material. The data entry device can also provide shipping information, fed to a printer for printing a shipping label.

Abstract: A system of connecting computer and voice networks includes a plurality of voice or data cables with reusable connectors in manufacturing facility remote and combining them into a composite preterminated cable. A consolidation panel is located remote from a technology room and nearer to workstations than to the technology room. The consolidation panel includes a couplers adapted to receive the reusable connectors. Composite preterminated cables from a selection of the composite preterminated cables having fixed preselected lengths are used. A first composite preterminated cable is routed between the technology room and the consolidation panel. Excess cable length is stored somewhere between the technology room and the consolidation panel.

Abstract: A Jam Factor rating is provided that represents the status along a specified route. A free flow travel time is calculated for the specified route. An estimated travel time is calculated for the specified route by considering traffic conditions along the specified route. A delay assessment is determined by comparing the estimated total travel time to the free flow travel time. The Jam Factor rating is based on the delay assessment.

Abstract: A control for pressurizing a load lock. The control initiates pressurization of the loadlock interior by coupling a source of gas to the loadlock interior. A representative load lock includes a pressure sensor and multiple valves to atmosphere where at least one such valves is a passthrough valve for removal of and insertion of workpieces from and into a load lock interior. A second fast acting valve also opens to atmosphere. A pressure rise inside the loadlock interior is monitored and when the pressure reaches a threshold pressure above atmosphere the fast acting valve is opened to atmosphere. This second fast acting valve is configured to relieve overpressure from the passthrough valve prior to opening of said passthrough valve. Workpiece movement is accomplished with the aid of a robot which reaches into the loadlock interior as it is either depositing workpieces or retrieving them.

The wiring guide may be inserted into a cavity on the backside of a RJ45 female connector, completing the termination of a station cable to a RJ45 female jack. The wiring guide may be installed into a plastic housing creating a RJ45 male connector. The wiring guide may be utilized for multiple connections without damaging or compromising the wiring guide and without the need for cutting the wire from the sub-connector. The wiring guide supports universal attachment to either male or female RJ45 connectors.

Abstract: A unitary lid for the casing of an electrochemical energy storage device is described. The lid has a terminal lead ferrule and a fillport formed from a single blank in a machining process. The lid does not require any welding except for securing it to the open end of a casing container. This helps the lid contribute to the cell's volumetric efficiency, which is especially important for cells powering implantable medical device.

Abstract: Laser marking of plastic material is achieved by incorporating into the plastic a laser marking particulate additive having a particle size of less than 100 nm. A mixed oxide particle of tin and antimony having a particle size of 10-70 nm is useful as a laser marking additive when using a YAG laser. A metallic powder can further be added to improve marking contrast.
