  • Publication number: 20150062772
Abstract: An electrostatic chuck for implanting ions at high temperatures is disclosed. The electrostatic chuck includes an insulating base, with electrically conductive electrodes disposed thereon. A dielectric top layer is disposed on the electrodes. A barrier layer is disposed on the dielectric top layer so as to be between the dielectric top layer and the workpiece. This barrier layer serves to inhibit the migration of particles from the dielectric top layer to the workpiece, which is clamped on the chuck. In some embodiments, a protective layer is applied on top of the barrier layer to prevent abrasion.

  • Publication number: 20150039599
Abstract: A system and method are presented for recommending domain names. One or more computer servers receive a query including at least one keyword from a user. A business category associated with the user is determined and a data base storing a plurality of top level domain name rankings is accessed to identify a first ranking of top level domain names for the business category. A listing of candidate domain names relevant to the query is generated and the listing of candidate domain names relevant to the query is displayed for selection and registration by the user. The listing of candidate domain names is ordered according to the first ranking of top level domain names for the business category.

  • Patent number: 8902115
Abstract: A resonant dielectric metamaterial comprises a first and a second set of dielectric scattering particles (e.g., spheres) having different permittivities arranged in a cubic array. The array can be an ordered or randomized array of particles. The resonant dielectric metamaterials are low-loss 3D isotropic materials with negative permittivity and permeability. Such isotropic double negative materials offer polarization and direction independent electromagnetic wave propagation.

  • Publication number: 20140061180
Abstract: An electrostatic chuck is formed using materials that are optically transparent to a range of frequencies, such as infrared radiation. The invention discloses several methods for achieving optical transparency. The chuck electrode can be formed having a mesh pattern designed with a specific open area percentage to provide adequate wafer clamping force while still allowing sufficient levels of infrared radiation to pass through. Alternatively, the chuck electrode can also be made from a transparent conductive film. A workpiece is disposed on one surface of the chuck, and a radiative heat source is positioned on the opposite side of the chuck. A reflector plate may be used to reflect the infrared radiation toward the chuck and the wafer. The spacing of the radiation sources and the shape of the reflector plate may be modified to focus more radiation on a particular portion of the workpiece if desired.

  • Patent number: 8649140
Abstract: A voltage activated 2nd level safety circuit for permanent isolation having a current activated fuse useful for class III medical devices, military applications, and any other passive loads. The battery system has a fuse current limiter and the current activated fuse maintain the fuse closed when a power cell, having a current sufficient to blow the fuse expeditiously, directs its current to the load. The power cell continues to direct its current to the load until the system detects an unacceptable battery or circuit condition. Once that unacceptable condition exists and is detected, a fuse blowing circuitry allows the power cell's current to expeditiously blow the current activated fuse. In response to the blown current activated fuse, the system's isolation switch(es) open as well to establish a permanent isolated battery.

The controller is configured to receive the sensed signal from the clamping power supply when no wafer is clamped to the clamping surface. The controller is further configured to monitor the sensed signal and determine if the sensed signal is representative of deposits on the clamping surface exceeding a predetermined deposit threshold.

  • Patent number: 8527416
Abstract: Controlled Payment Numbers (CPNs) which issue as a unique payment number for each transaction uniquely identify the transaction for matching the purchase and payment information. The issuance of the CPN is controlled by business rules which are designed to and effectively restrict the use of the CPN, such that if a user exceeds his authorization, a CPN is not issued. The business rules are set up according to a hierarchy of users. Further, a declining balance CPN is also provided.
