  • Publication number: 20060003782
Abstract: A system and method for providing voice or data connectivity to multiple aircraft or communication devices via a single telephone number. The initial call placed by a caller can be to a direct global number, or can be forwarded to the direct global number via a toll-free access number. A caller is prompted to select from an automated selection of aircraft, vessels, communication devices, or other available devices or units. Based upon the selection, the call is routed to the single global number for that selection. A caller then hears a greeting that identifies the aircraft, vessel, or device selected and provides the handset, data service, or other options available. After a caller makes a selection, call connectivity is established.

  • Publication number: 20050216509
Abstract: The present invention concerns methods and systems for gathering data concerning usage of media data provided from a predetermined receiver to a user. First data concerning usage of the media data is gathered by means of a portable monitor carried on the person of the user. Second data concerning usage of media data by the predetermined receiver is gathered by a monitoring system separate from the portable monitor, the second data corresponding to at least a portion of the first data. Audience measurement data is produced based on the first and second data.

  • Patent number: 6942797
Abstract: A filtration system includes an outer casing (210) that houses a plurality of elongated inner casings (220A–220F), which in turn house a plurality of filtration membranes. The outer casing, inner casing, and filtration membranes are disposed relative to one another to provide a three-flow channel system that provides additional feed fluid at one or more membrane couplings between membranes of the same inner casing. Ths arrangement defines a feed fluid flow path in which a feed fluid exiting from an upstream filter into a downstream filter is diluted by additional feed fluid.
