    Abstract: An Aircraft Communication and Addressing Reporting System (ACARS) compatible transmitter is disclosed. In embodiments, the transmitter receives outbound (e.g., downlink or uplink) ACARS messages from aircraft end systems and compresses the header/trailer (H/T) and/or text payloads of ACARS blocks (e.g., text messages) or ACARS acknowledgements (ACK)) prior to transmission. For example, the transmitter compresses ACARS blocks by removing fixed markers and encoding variable fields. The transmitter parses incoming text payloads to determine their character distribution and selects a radix alphabet including the ASCII characters used in the text payload.

In an embodiment a machine learning system is configured to compute a shape and size of three-dimensional digital objects to fit a second character model based on the shape and size that the same three-dimensional digital objects have to fit a first character model. A server computer receives particular input data defining a plurality of particular input vertices for a particular input three-dimensional digital object fit for the first character model. In response to receiving the particular input data, the server computer computes, using the machine learning system, particular output data defining a plurality of particular output vertices for a particular output three-dimensional digital object, the particular output three-dimensional digital object comprising the particular input three-dimensional digital object fit for the second character model.

    Abstract: A locking buckle assembly for coupling and decoupling a web strap includes a strap plate and a base part. The base part includes a front plate and a rear cover. A locking mechanism including a release button and a locking peg is positioned between the front plate and the rear cover. The release button and the locking peg are biased by a spring through respective openings in the front plate. A lock plate is provided on a surface of the front plate. Respective longitudinal axes of the lock plate and the front plate are angularly offset from each other. The strap plate includes an opening sized to receive the lock plate and couples to the base part when the lock plate captures the strap plate and the longitudinal axes of the strap plate and the base part are aligned. In that orientation, the locking peg couples to the strap plate and the strap plate and the base part are only decoupled by pressing of the release button in opposition to the urging of the spring.

The movement rig is operable to apply a forced oscillation to the first hair switch. The camera is for capturing images of the first hair switch during movement of the first hair switch during and after application of the forced oscillation. The computer is communicably connected to the camera. The computer includes a processor for processing the images and extracting quantitative measurements of the first hair switch from the images. A filter is applied to the images to remove any stray hairs detected before subsequent analysis of the images is carried out.

In some cases, an energy harvester device may be used to slow charge a battery or supercapacitor from the circuit loop to power the A/V doorbell and/or signaling device.
