  • Patent number: 11412189
Abstract: In implementations described herein, A/V recording and communication doorbell devices (“A/V doorbells”) and signaling devices may be powered from a common AC waveform. In some implementations, an A/V doorbell and its corresponding signaling device may be arranged in a circuit loop where a portion of an AC waveform is used to power the A/V doorbell and the other portions of the AC waveform is used to power the signaling device. For example, a positive phase of the AC waveform may be used to power one of the A/V doorbell or signaling device and a negative phase of the AC waveform may be used to power the other of the A/V doorbell or signaling device. In some cases, an energy harvester device may be used to slow charge a battery or supercapacitor from the circuit loop to power the A/V doorbell and/or signaling device.

  • Patent number: 11405795
Abstract: A large scale hierarchical and heterogeneous network, and specifically mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs), derive content elements from a plurality of informational data points via spectrum fusion at each hierarchical level. Content elements may be derived via fusion of information data from peer nodes and from content elements from lower hierarchical levels. Content elements are propagated up for further abstraction at higher hierarchical levels. Each content element is tagged with a node location and external reference direction. • Publication number: 20220207843
Abstract: Systems and methods for modifying three-dimensional digital items to fit different character models are described herein. In an embodiment a machine learning system is configured to compute a shape and size of three-dimensional digital objects to fit a second character model based on the shape and size that the same three-dimensional digital objects have to fit a first character model. A server computer receives particular input data defining a plurality of particular input vertices for a particular input three-dimensional digital object fit for the first character model. In response to receiving the particular input data, the server computer computes, using the machine learning system, particular output data defining a plurality of particular output vertices for a particular output three-dimensional digital object, the particular output three-dimensional digital object comprising the particular input three-dimensional digital object fit for the second character model.

  • Publication number: 20220203240
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for facilitating the placement of props on maps by an automated prop placement tool that makes use of a trained machine learning mechanism. The machine learning mechanism is trained based on one or more training maps upon which props have been placed. The machine learning mechanism may be trained to suggest placement based on (a) spatial rules relating, (b) prop-specific rules, (c) prop-to-fixed-object distances between props and map structures, and (d) distances between props. Once the machine learning mechanism is trained, the prop placement tool may be provided as input (a) map data that defines a target map and (b) prop data that specifies the set of target props to be placed on the target map. Based on this input and the machine learning mechanism's trained model, the prop placement tool outputs a suggested placement, for each of the target props, on the target map.

  • Patent number: 11316718
Abstract: A system and related method sends Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA) control traffic via an Over the Air (OTA) waveform in a variety of military voice radios. The system employs a voice to Internet Protocol (IP) conversion to create voice sized frames and redundancy DSA frames recognizable and transmittable by the voice radio. The system dynamically adapts to different types of military waveforms including those which implement: (1) an encoded digitized voice to be divided into frames, (2) an encoded digitized voice to a continual bit stream, (3) direct analog modulation of voice samples, and (4) transmission of voice and data over a single channel. The system adapts to an available channel being voice or non-voice in the military radio enabling DSA control traffic to run with data (in-band) channel or in a voice channel.

  • Patent number: 11290942
Abstract: A communications node of a multi-node communications network is disclosed. In embodiments, the communications node includes a communications interface and controller. The controller transitions the clustering status of the communications node to a clusterhead node status. The clusterhead node identifies a cluster of neighboring nodes with which it is in communication by transmitting hello messages identifying the clusterhead node and its status but omitting a one-hop neighbor list. The clusterhead node refines link discovery to the nodes of the multi-node communications network by flooding the network (e.g., via its cluster of neighboring nodes) with routing status messages, which network nodes not part of the dominating set of clusterhead nodes are restricted from sending.

  • Publication number: 20220078108
Abstract: A system and method for identifying packets in a that may be stuck in a loop includes logically organizing the network as a tree and modifying packets with an artifice to identify the packets intended directionality within the tree. If the actual directionality conflicts with the intended directionality, a potential loop is indicated. • Publication number: 20220070728
Abstract: An Aircraft Communication and Addressing Reporting System (ACARS) compatible transmitter is disclosed. In embodiments, the transmitter receives outbound (e.g., downlink or uplink) ACARS messages from aircraft end systems and compresses the header/trailer (H/T) and/or text payloads of ACARS blocks (e.g., text messages) or ACARS acknowledgements (ACK)) prior to transmission. For example, the transmitter compresses ACARS blocks by removing fixed markers and encoding variable fields. The transmitter parses incoming text payloads to determine their character distribution and selects a radix alphabet including the ASCII characters used in the text payload.
