  • Patent number: 6552892
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrostatic clamp and comprises a dielectric layer overlying an electrode and a doped region in the dielectric layer. The doped region of the dielectric layer is electrically conductive, and when the doped region is coupled to a circuit ground potential, the doped region of the dielectric layer is operable to bleed off charge which accumulates on a workpiece residing thereon during processing. The present invention further comprises a method of forming an electrostatic clamp which comprises the steps of forming an electrically insulating layer over an electrode and doping a portion of the electrically insulating layer, wherein the doped portion of the electrically insulating layer becomes electrically conductive.

  • Patent number: 4355731
Abstract: An egg supporting tray is provided which has a plurality of egg pockets. Each egg pocket is formed by four posts which are interconnected by ribs. Each surface of the four posts, which forms a part of an egg pocket, has a concave surface on the upper portion thereof and a ridge on the lower portion thereof. The ridge provides substantially four point contact for a small egg which improves washing and drying and reduces water spotting. The concave surface enables the egg supporting tray to accommodate large eggs.

  • Patent number: 4349220
Abstract: A gangable wireway assembly including a plurality of generally U-shaped troughs and trough covers utilized as either tandem sections or as fittings which connect the tandem sections in an elbow, tee or cross configuration. Trough covers have upstanding lips at opposite ends and drip hood flanges running along longitudinal margins which overlap flanges on the U-shaped trough. The tandem section covers include a reverse bend on one drip hood flange to interlock one margin of the cover with the trough. Adjacent trough ends are nestingly received by a connector and adjacent trough covers are overlapped by a connector cover at the juncture of adjacent cover sections. The connector cover includes a recess receiving the lips of adjacent covers and includes flanges in overlapping relationship with the drip hood flanges. One flange on the connector cover also includes a reverse bend to interlock with the associated drip hood flanges.

  • Patent number: 4320837
Abstract: A multi-position container adapted to nest within a like-oriented lower container of like construction, and also adapted to stack on a said lower container in a "high-stack" position without rotating the upper container with respect to the lower container. In a preferred embodiment a said upper container can also be stacked within a said lower container at an "intermediate-stack" position without rotating the upper container with respect to the lower container. Thus, in the preferred embodiments, a three-position container is provided. In yet another embodiment an upper container can be stacked on a lower container in a high-stack position and in an intermediate-stack position, which also becomes the nest position in this embodiment.

  • Patent number: 4272643
Abstract: A fire resistant fitting including a pair of plates having a fire rated expandable material therebetween and a pair of conduits extending from each plate with one conduit of each pair in alignment with a respective conduit of the other pair and a respective passage in the expandable material to extend separate power and communication connections through a floor. Threaded members extend from one plate through the other plate for squeezing the expandable material against the sides of the floor opening in which the fitting is located and stops on the threaded members prevent the application of excessive force to the material.

  • Patent number: 4254504
Abstract: A transceiver is controlled in operation by a programmable read only memory (PROM). The memory is accessed directly via a series of switches and when accessed, provides output data necessary to control the operation of the transceiver by controlling the frequency, the output power level and the mode of operation, as well as providing data to prevent transmission of unauthorized frequencies. The memory permits rapid and reliable programming of the apparatus enabling an untrained operator to use the equipment with reduced risk of unauthorized operation.
