  • Patent number: 11411941
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for establishing, or re-establishing, trust for a network device. A user device may send, via a network device, a service request to establish trust for the network device in a network. The service request may comprise, or may allow look up of, identifying information for the network device, such as a network address. Trust of the network device may be established, at least in part, by confirming the network address (or other identifying information) associated with the network device, and/or by confirming certain devices that are in communication with the network device. An authentication token may be sent to the network device for reconnecting to the network.

  • Publication number: 20200036584
Abstract: In accordance with one or more embodiments, aspects of the disclosure may provide efficient, effective, and convenient ways of managing network devices. In particular, a client router may connect to an upstream virtual gateway. The virtual gateway may manage a large number of client devices. Each client router may be represented virtually within the gateway as a virtual router. The virtual gateways may be distributed regionally, in order to manage large numbers of client routers and/or to reduce transmission delays. The virtual gateways may be managed by a gateway controller. The gateway controller may be centralized, and perform various configuration functions, such as configurations for hardware, logical networking, or content access policies. In some instances, messages sent between the gateway controller using a first protocol and the client router using a second protocol may be translated by a protocol agent.

  • Patent number: 10357396
Abstract: A patient warming device with patient access for maintaining normothermia and/or treating hypothermia is provided. The device includes a first compliant layer and a second compliant layer sealed together around an outer border to contain a liquid between the two layers and to form a wrap that surrounds and conforms to a body portion of a patient. A plurality of flaps extends from opposite sides of a generally longitudinal central portion of the wrap, such that one or more flaps from the opposite sides fasten to each other to surround the body portion. The flaps are openable during functional use to provide access to an underlying patient body surface. A continuous fluid flow path extends between the first compliant layer and the second compliant layer between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet to carry liquid and deliver heat through the wrap.

  • Publication number: 20160346161
Abstract: A compressive patient warming device is provided. The device includes an elastic inner layer that conforms snugly to a shape of an appendage of a patient so that the inner layer wraps around and substantially contacts most of an underlying surface area of the appendage. An outer layer is attached to and covers the inner layer to form a space that holds a heat transfer medium between the inner layer and the outer layer while the inner layer is wrapped around the appendage. The outer layer may be a rigid layer, and a predetermined compressive load may be applied to the outer layer to encourage blood flow in the appendage. A source of heat may be applied to the device to maintain normothermia and/or treat hypothermia.

  • Publication number: 20160275450
Abstract: A method of providing access to a secure receptacle to complete a package delivery is implemented through a storage compartment, a central server, a recipient computing device, and a courier computing device. The overall process includes a generation of a one-time key code by the central server upon completion of a purchase order, wherein the recipient computing device completes and transmits the purchase order. The one-time key code is then provided to the storage compartment and the courier computing device. The one-time key code allows a courier that assigned to the courier computing device to unlock the storage compartment and place a purchased product in the storage compartment. This ensures the secure placement of the purchased product. Additionally, when the storage compartment is unlocked through the one-time key code, the recipient computing device is notified that the package delivery process completed.
