  • Patent number: 11959429
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to improvements in turbocharger efficiency and more particularly to a method and system for estimating the efficiency loss of a turbocharger. The method comprises the steps of monitoring a plurality of operating parameters and determining a compressor exit temperature according to a first calibration map based on these operating parameters. An estimate of instantaneous turbocharger efficiency loss according to a second calibration map is then determined, based on the compressor exit temperature. The instantaneous turbocharger efficiency loss is used to determine an estimate of cumulative turbocharger efficiency loss during engine service. The estimate of cumulative turbocharger efficiency loss is compared with a first predetermined efficiency loss threshold and a first signal is generated if the first predetermined efficiency loss threshold is exceeded.

  • Publication number: 20240100658
Abstract: A powered ratchet includes a motor, a mounting portion, and an output member configured to rotate in response to activation of the motor. The output member defines a drive axis. The powered ratchet also includes a release mechanism configured to selectively couple an anvil to the output member. The release mechanism includes a cover coupled to the mounting portion with a track and a locking member positioned between the mounting portion and the cover and operable to slide within the track between a locked position, in which the locking member engages the anvil to secure the anvil to the output member for co-rotation therewith, and a release position, in which the locking member is disengaged from the anvil to facilitate removal of the anvil. The release mechanism also includes a biasing member biasing the locking member to the locked position.

  • Publication number: 20240016631
Abstract: An endograft delivery device assembly a guide wire cannula extending distally from the tip to a handle assembly at the distal end. A positioner is disposed around the guide wire cannula. A sheath extends from the handle assembly over the positioner towards the tip. A sheath splitter assembly is within the handle assembly, and includes a splitter body attached to the positioner and disposed within the sheath and at least one splitter arm. The splitter body defines a through-hole through which a guide wire cannula passes. The splitter arm extends laterally from the splitter body though a slit though the sheath to a support within the handle assembly. The splitter body includes a circumferential sealing surface extending towards the tip, the sealing surface and the inner surface of the sheath dimensioned such that the sheath is circumferentially stretched over the sealing surface thereby forming a seal.

  • Patent number: 11875185
Abstract: A computer-implemented method according to one embodiment includes receiving data associated with a driver performing actions. At least some of the actions trigger events emitted by an event emitter. Information, from the received data, about the performed actions is logged in an action log. An event observer is instructed to log the events emitted by the event emitter that the event observer observes. The observed events are logged in an event log. The information of the action log and information of the event log is compared based on a rule, and a validity of the event emitter is determined based on results of the comparing. A computer program product according to another embodiment includes a computer readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith. The program instructions are readable and/or executable by a processor to cause the processor to perform the foregoing method.
