  • Publication number: 20220147489
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program for enabling a user to edit and access local and remote objects via a virtual drive, including objects synchronized to a plurality of synchronization clients. A virtual drive is displayed on the user's local client device with all objects, which a user has synchronized to a synchronization server. A user is able to access and edit any object displayed in the virtual drive. In response to detecting a change in an object in the virtual drive, the object is updated on the synchronization server. All remote clients of the user or of any other users who have access to the changed folder are identified and notified of the change. In response to the change being a change to content within the folder, the content of the folder is automatically updated on any identified remote clients that have a corresponding folder.

  • Publication number: 20220137942
Abstract: A function is compiled against a first application binary interface (ABI) and a second ABI of a native first instruction set architecture (ISA). The second ABI defines context data not exceeding a size expected by a third ABI of a foreign second ISA, and uses a subset of registers of the first ISA that are mapped to registers of the second ISA. Use of the subset of registers by the second ABI results in some functions being foldable when compiled using both the first and second ABIs. First and second compiled versions of the function are identified as foldable, or not, based on whether the compiled versions match. Both the first and second compiled versions are emitted into a binary file when they are not foldable, and only one of the first or second compiled versions is emitted into the binary file when they are foldable.

  • Publication number: 20220107898
Abstract: An apparatus comprises first-level and second-level set-associative caches each comprising the same number of sets of cache entries. Indexing circuitry generates, based on a lookup address, a set index identifying which set of the first-level set-associative cache or the second-level set-associative cache is a selected set of cache entries to be looked up for information associated with the lookup address. The indexing circuitry generates the set index using an indexing scheme which maps the lookup address to the same set index for both the first-level set-associative cache and the second-level set-associative cache. This can make migration of cached information between the cache levels more efficient, which can be particularly useful for caches with high access frequency, such as branch target buffers for a branch predictor.

  • Publication number: 20220107901
Abstract: First and second-level caches are provided. Cache control circuitry performs a first-level cache lookup of the first-level cache based on a lookup address, to determine whether the first-level cache stores valid cached data corresponding to the lookup address. When lookup hint information associated with the lookup address is available, the cache control circuitry determines based on the lookup hint information whether to activate or deactivate a second-level cache lookup of the second-level cache. The lookup hint information is indicative of whether the second-level cache is predicted to store valid cached data associated with the lookup address. When the second-level cache lookup is activated, the second-level cache lookup of the second-level cache is performed based on the lookup address to determine whether the second-level cache stores valid cached data corresponding to the lookup address.

  • Patent number: 11289108
Abstract: An encoder operable to filter audio signals into a plurality of frequency band components, generate quantized digital components for each band, identify a potential for pre-echo events within the generated quantized digital components, generate an approximate signal by decoding the quantized digital components using inverse pulse code modulation, generate an error signal by comparing the approximate signal with the sampled audio signal, and process the error signal and quantized digital components. The encoder operable to process the error signal by processing delayed audio signals and Q band values, determining the potential for pre-echo events from the Q band values, and determining scale factors and MDCT block sizes for the potential for pre-echo events.

  • Publication number: 20220088816
Abstract: An apparatus includes channel assemblies in a rotatable section, a cutting assembly, a discharge assembly, and a cleanout assembly. The channel assembly holds a bulk instance of compressible material extending through upper and lower channels of a continuous channel. The cutting assembly moves in relation to the channel assembly to isolate the upper and lower channels, severing upper and lower material portions of the bulk instance. The discharge assembly directs gas into the lower channel of a channel assembly to discharge the lower material portion from the lower channel, based on radial alignment of a conduit assembly of the channel assembly with a conduit assembly of the discharge assembly. The cleanout assembly supplies a fluid through the conduit assembly of the channel assembly, based on radially alignment of the conduit assembly of the channel assembly with a conduit assembly of the cleanout assembly.
