Abstract: A leak detection sensor includes a pair of electrodes, each electrode being coated with an electrically insulating coating having fractures formed therein having a breadth of less than 500 nm, whereby a current can flow between the electrodes when the electrodes are exposed to an electrically conductive fluid. An alarm is activatable in response to current flowing between the electrodes.

Abstract: A float switch with a float housing having a magnetically-activated, hermetically-sealed reed switch secured within an interior cavity in a first orientation and a permanent magnet positioned in a second orientation. The permanent magnet is movable within a chamber in the interior cavity between a first activation position and a second non-activation position. For connection to a pump, electrical conductors extend from the float housing at one end and are electrically coupled to the reed switch.

An example apparatus comprises a thyristor coupled to a node and configured to limit the voltage and discharge the current associated with an over-voltage event at the node. In one implementation according to examples of the present disclosure, a method comprises receiving a treatment temperature from a user device. The method further comprises flowing a fluid from a hot fluid generating system to a canopy. The method further comprises selectively enabling and disabling a fluid flow from the hot fluid generating system to the canopy to maintain the treatment temperature within the canopy.

Whether or not to transmit the advertisement to the second user device is determined based on the request from the second user device and the criterion for transmitting the advertisement. Abstract: The invention relates to the field of IEEE 802.15.4 based networks, and in particular to methods and devices for transmitting and receiving messages in IEEE 802.15.4 based networks. The existing IEEE 802.15.4 standard is further improved and adapted to better fit the properties of a network of lighting devices. The improvements and adaptations of the existing IEEE 802.15.4 standard allow for more flexible addressing. Bits which are indicative of use of address fields and/or whether one or two frame control fields is/are present in the ordered data portions of the message to be transmitted are defined by the device transmitting the message in the IEEE 802.15.4 based network. Existing features of the existing IEEE 802.15.4 standard protocol are retained.

Each electrical fixture may be associated with a mapped fixture location in the building plan by correlating the detected sound with the location of the sound generator along the path.
