Abstract: Techniques are disclosed herein for generating personalized nutritional recommendations using predicted values of target biomarkers. Using the technologies described herein, a programmatic analysis is performed on different data to predict values of target biomarkers that are associated with an individual. Personalized nutritional recommendations are then generated, using the predicted values, and provided to the individual. The predictions are based on data that is associated with the individual, such as microbiome data, ketone data, glucose data, nutritional data, questionnaire data, and the like. A prediction service can utilize a machine learning mechanism to generate the predicted value of the target biomarkers. • Publication number: 20190221916
Abstract: A lightweight 2.4 GHZ antenna designed to be clipped onto a laptop computer or mobile device to extend the range of operation. The device consists of a tubular plastic frame upon which wire loops and a reflector are mounted and aimed toward the intended source of Wi-Fi signal. Radio-Frequency energy is transferred bidirectionally from the antenna to embedded antennas in the laptop computer or mobile device so no hardwired connection is necessary. Operation requires no power. The device can be scaled to 5 GHz Wi-Fi and other frequency bands including cellular.

  • Patent number: 10343039
Abstract: A lightweight compression molded multicolor golf grip having at least a first section and a second section of differing colors and composed of elastomer compounds having a density of less than 0.90 g/cc, and joined by cross-linking across a sharply defined cross-color interface having an interface transition zone beyond which there is no mixing of the colors. The grip has a soft feel and unique compression characteristics achieved in some embodiments through the controlled use of an expanding blowing agent in a rubber compound including an EPDM mixture. Achieving the sharply defined cross-color interface is due in part to the use of complementary geometries at opposing interface edges to increase the stability of the interface and reduce the flow during molding associated with the increased viscosity of low density rubber compounds, promote cross-linking of the sections, and better distribute and control the consolidation pressure.

  • Patent number: 10285248
Abstract: A transmitting device comprises a transmitter, and a controller for receiving transmission requests from a request source. The controller comprises a queue, and is configured to queue the transmission requests in order from the front of the queue backwards, and to enact the transmission request at the front of the queue by controlling the transmitter to perform the transmission of the corresponding message. The controller is further configured to detect that at least one of these transmission requests is to be treated as a repeating request, and in response, to re-insert the repeating request in the queue in one of the places farther back than the front after transmission of the corresponding message, so as to retransmit the corresponding message at least once.

  • Publication number: 20190059240
Abstract: A modular plant growth and support fencing assembly and method for supporting plant extremities during growth of the plants which provides the dual function of containing a plant growth medium in a plant tray; and supporting the plant upper extremities through a framework of intersecting legs and ribs arranged at different heights. The plant tray contains soil growth medium, liquids, and plants. The tray has a generally convex bottom surface that causes the liquid to flow towards multiple drain holes at the depressed perimeter region. A pattern of cuboids and channels on the bottom surface of the tray facilitate drainage of liquid and enhance oxygenation of roots. A fence mounts above the plant tray that has intersecting legs, ribs, and connectors at predetermined levels along the height of the legs to fasten the plant upper extremities, i.e., stem, bud, and other parts of plant growing above the tray.
