Abstract: An outdoor torch safety cap including a pair of interlocked telescoping cylinders, a platform formed on the end of inner cylinder, an inner disc formed on the interior surface of the outer cylinder, multiple spaced tabs formed on the platform and on the inner disc, a compression spring disposed between the cylinders such that when the spring is compressed the tabs on the platform come into contact with the tabs on the inner disc to facilitate rotation of the inner cylinder, and an inner disc formed on the interior of the inner cylinder to prevent the escape of fuel when the safety cap is tightened over the fuel opening formed in the container top of an outdoor torch.
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for detecting contaminants, such as ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol, in various materials, including household products, and medicines. The contaminants can be detected using enzyme assays that produce measurable changes in light absorption and/or light fluorescence.

Abstract: Clamping system and method for clamping the bottom head cover of a coke drum to the bottom flange thereof are disclosed. The system and method include determining the flange stiffness or resistance to deflection resulting from the spring-like force exerted on the bottom head cover and bottom flange gasket seating surface by the gasket in its compressed state. This deflection information may then be used to estimate the minimum number of clamps needed to ensure sufficient load remains on the gasket at the midpoints between the clamps to effectively keep the gasket sealed. An appropriate number of clamps may then be disposed around the periphery of the bottom flange to clamp it to the bottom head cover. In one practical design, each clamp engages a lug attached to the periphery of the bottom head cover such that the clamp does not extend underneath the bottom head cover when clamped.

Abstract: The claimed method and system provides a client authentication distributor component (CAD) that handles multiple client application requests for authentication to a common authentication provider. In one embodiment, only a single user sign on process may be required after which the CAD manages future authentication processes on behalf of the user without the user requiring to provide credentials.
Abstract: A rotatable mechanism for jewelry and decorative pieces where the a plurality of ball-bearings are used to connect decorative pieces together with a main fixed piece, allowing the easy rotation and spinning of said decorative pieces, as compared to prior art construction for moveable decorative pieces that are directly linked to the main fixed piece, resulting in more friction being present when the spinning/rotation is to happen. Present invention helps to increase the aesthetic value of jewelry or decorative piece when the freedom of rotation/spinning is greatly enhanced.
