  • Publication number: 20240412314
Abstract: A device detects, using input from one or more sensors installed at a parking facility of a plurality of parking facilities, an infraction caused by a vehicle. Responsive to detecting the infraction, the device generates a vehicle fingerprint by inputting a depiction of the vehicle into a supervised machine learning model, the depiction derived from one or more images of the vehicle captured at the parking facility, and receiving a feature vector of the vehicle as output from the supervised machine learning model, the feature vector comprising a plurality of embeddings each describing a dimension of the vehicle. The device monitors for entry of the vehicle at each of the plurality of parking facilities using the vehicle fingerprint, and, responsive to detecting entry of the vehicle at a given one of the plurality of parking facilities, triggers a remediation action.

  • Publication number: 20240412634
Abstract: An edge device generates an exit event for a vehicle exiting a parking facility. The edge device determines whether the exit event matches with an entry event. Responsive to determining that the exit event does not match to an entry event, the edge device inputs images of the vehicle into a supervised machine learning model and receives, as output from the model, an exit feature vector. The edge device retrieves entry feature vectors corresponding to hanging entry events. A hanging entry event is an entry event for a vehicle with an unknown vehicle identifier. Edge device inputs the exit feature vector and the entry feature vectors into an unsupervised machine learning model and receives, as output from the model, matching scores for each entry feature vector. Edge device matches the exit event to one of the hanging entry events based on the matching scores.

  • Patent number: 12165670
Abstract: Disclosed are devices, systems, apparatus, methods, products, and other implementations, including a method comprising obtaining, by a device, a combined sound signal for signals combined from multiple sound sources in an area in which a person is located, and applying, by the device, speech-separation processing (e.g., deep attractor network (DAN) processing, online DAN processing, LSTM-TasNet processing, Conv-TasNet processing), to the combined sound signal from the multiple sound sources to derive a plurality of separated signals that each contains signals corresponding to different groups of the multiple sound sources. The method further includes obtaining, by the device, neural signals for the person, the neural signals being indicative of one or more of the multiple sound sources the person is attentive to, and selecting one of the plurality of separated signals based on the obtained neural signals. The selected signal may then be processed (amplified, attenuated).

  • Patent number: 12161859
Abstract: A vestibular stimulation array is disclosed having one or more separate electrode arrays each operatively adapted for implantation in a semicircular canal of the vestibular system, wherein each separate electrode array is dimensioned and constructed so that residual vestibular function is preserved. In particular, the electrode arrays are dimensioned such that the membranous labyrinth is not substantially compressed. Furthermore, the electrode array has a stop portion to limit insertion of the electrode array into the semi-circular canal and is still enough to avoid damage to the anatomical structures.

  • Publication number: 20240403416
Abstract: In some aspects, a computing system may use a machine learning model (e.g., a large language model) with a variety of query tokens as seeds to predict probabilities of future events. The system may then use the probabilities to determine the probability of a target event based on the query tokens. The system may then sort the query tokens by probability of the target event and select the top N query tokens (e.g., the top three events for a user that are predicted to be followed by the target event). The events indicated by the query tokens may be monitored for a given time period, and, if any of those events occur, the system may generate an alert.

  • Publication number: 20240395301
Abstract: Technology is disclosed for a current source for reading a memory cell having a threshold switching selector. The current source may be operated in a first mode when turning on the threshold switching selector and in a second mode when sensing a voltage across the memory cell. The first mode may allow the use of the full range of the power supply voltage, which provides sufficient voltage across the memory cell to turn on the threshold switching selector. In the second mode the magnitude of the read current is less dependent on the voltage across the memory cell. The second mode therefore provides for accurate sensing of the memory cell. The first mode may also be used when writing the memory cell, which provides sufficient voltage across the memory cell to write the memory cell.

  • Publication number: 20240386916
Abstract: Provided are mechanisms that allow automatic media content layering. The systems and methods obtain a media content list that includes a plurality of different types of media content segment entries. Media content tracks are determined from the plurality of media content segment entries and are based on the type of those entries. Media content track features are determined from the media content segment entries where those features are used to adjust the media content tracks, layering of multiple media content tracks, adjusting media content segments that make up the media content tracks or other features. A media content layered object is then generated based on the media content track features and the media content tracks. An action, such as storage, may be performed on the generated media content layered object.

  • Patent number: 12148459
Abstract: Technology for read in a cross-point memory array. Drive transistors pass read and write currents to the cross-point memory array. The read current charges a selected word line to turn on a threshold switching selector of a selected memory cell. While the threshold switching selector is on, the current (read or write) passes through the selected memory cell. The memory system applies a smaller overdrive voltage to a drive transistor when the drive transistor is passing the read current than when the drive transistor is passing the write current. A smaller overdrive voltage increases the resistance of the drive transistor. Increasing the resistance of the drive transistor increases the resistance seen by the threshold switching selector in the selected memory cell, which reduces the Ihold of the threshold switching selector.

  • Patent number: 12143237
Abstract: A building system of a building including one or more memory devices having instructions thereon, that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive a request to access a portion of a building graph of the building from a system, the building graph including a plurality of nodes and a plurality of edges, the plurality of nodes representing entities of the building and the plurality of edges representing relationships between the entities of the building. The instructions cause one or more processors to determine whether the system has access to the portion of the building graph based on a policy indicated by the plurality of nodes and edges of the building graph and provide the portion of the building graph to the system in response to a determination that the system has access to the portion of the building graph.

  • Publication number: 20240370096
Abstract: This document describes techniques and systems for radar-based gesture-recognition with context-sensitive gating and other context-sensitive controls. Sensor data from a proximity sensor and/or a movement sensor produces a context of a user equipment. The techniques and systems enable the user equipment to recognize contexts when a radar system can be unreliable and should not be used for gesture-recognition, enabling the user equipment to automatically disable or “gate” the output from the radar system according to context. The user equipment prevents the radar system from transitioning to a high-power state to perform gesture-recognition in contexts where radar data detected by the radar system is likely due to unintentional input. By so doing, the techniques conserve power, improve accuracy, or reduce latency relative to many common techniques and systems for radar-based gesture-recognition.
