  • Patent number: 11835360
Abstract: A map database stores data describing a set of connected roads each having one or more lanes, each having one or more lanes. The map database further stores data describing at an avoidance area comprising an area in the map database that an autonomous vehicle (AV) avoids traversing. A routability system determines at least one lane that can be accessed by the AV if the AV traverses the avoidance area, and generates a restored coverage area corresponding to the at least one lane. The restored coverage area corresponds to an area of restored coverage provided by the AV traversing the avoidance area. The routability system computes a score based on the restored coverage area, the score indicating an impact of restoring access by the AV to the avoidance area.

  • Patent number: 11669503
Abstract: In some aspects, a model of a remote data source is defined. The model includes an entity representing a data segment from the remote data source. The entity has properties, which represent fields of a data structure in the remote data source and have data type descriptors indicating data types used by the fields. The model also includes an attribute specifying a function, which uses the properties as inputs. The entity is matched to exported data from the remote data source, and the exported data is used as input data to the attribute's function.

  • Patent number: 11494294
Abstract: Certain aspects involve models for generating code executed on data-processing platforms. One example involves receiving an electronic data-processing model, which generates an analytical output from input attributes weighted with respective modeling coefficients. A target data-processing platform is identified that requires bin ranges for the modeling coefficients and reason codes for the input attributes. Modeling code is generated that implements the electronic data-processing model with the bin ranges and the reason codes. The processor outputs executable code that implements the electronic data-processing model.

  • Publication number: 20220160774
Abstract: Non-coding RNA, such as miRNA, expression data derived from a cell population is used to infer the propensity of that cell population for a cellular functional effect for a pre-determined purpose, which effect is temporally, procedurally or interventionally separated from the cell population from which the expression data is derived. Thereby, the cellular functional effect of a cell population can be predicted in order to improve decisions and selections to be made relating to the use of cells, e.g. from cells deriving from different donors or batches, for use in bioprocess application or cell therapeutics, in order to enhance productivity, efficiency and/or efficacy.

  • Patent number: 11132183
Abstract: This disclosure involves development and deployment platforms for decision algorithms. For example, a computing system provides software development interface to a client device. The system sets, based on an input from the client device via the interface, a decision engine to a test mode that causes the decision engine to operate on test data stored in a first database and that prevents the decision engine from applying operations from the client device to production data stored in a second database. The system also configures the decision engine in the test mode to execute a different decision algorithms on the test data. The system also sets, based on another input via the interface, the decision engine to a deployment mode that causes the decision engine to operate on the production data. The system configures the decision engine in the deployment mode to execute one or more of the tested decision algorithms.

  • Publication number: 20210195418
Abstract: A device is arranged to comprise a communication interface (20) to transmit data over the cellular network (60) to a destination device (65). The device further has a security module (25) providing one or more security domains (32), each security domain used to host a profile facilitating access by the device to the cellular network. At least one security domain hosts a profile that stores secret data and provides a token generation application to generate a token using at least the secret data. The device then outputs the token in association with the transmitted data, enabling the destination device to perform authentication of the transmitted data by invoking an authentication service (85) that also stores the secret data (50). Such an approach provides a particularly cost effective and robust mechanism for providing a highly trusted authentication of data transmitted over a cellular network.

  • Publication number: 20210139984
Abstract: A method for determining the presence and level of PSC contaminants in a PSC-derived cell population for use in cell therapy by assaying a sample of the PSC-derived cell population against a panel of non-coding RNAs such as miRNA known to be differentially expressed in PSC contaminants, thereby detecting residual PSC cell contamination at a level of 10 and even 5 or fewer residual contaminating PSC cells in a background of one million cells, such that a PSC-derived cell population or sample may be identified as meeting safety requirements for use in cell therapy.

  • Patent number: 10989673
Abstract: A Computed Tomography (CT) system can be deployed by subsea vehicles such as remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) or by divers to perform CT inspections on a subsea structure. In embodiments, a marinized signal source and a marinized flat panel signal detector are positioned at a structure to be inspected subsea and possibly repositioned at different angles about the structure to acquire a series of 2D radiographic images which are then fed to a reconstruction algorithm that produces a 3D reconstructed volume of the structure being inspected.
