  • Patent number: 10942842
Abstract: Certain aspects involve building and debugging models for generating source code executed on data-processing platforms. One example involves receiving an electronic data-processing model, which generates an analytical output from input attributes weighted with respective modeling coefficients. A target data-processing platform is identified that requires bin ranges for the modeling coefficients and reason codes for the input attributes. Bin ranges and reason codes are identified. Modeling code is generated that implements the electronic data-processing model with the bin ranges and the reason codes. The processor outputs source code, which is generated from the modeling code, in a programming language used by the target data-processing platform.

  • Patent number: 10860549
Abstract: In some aspects, an interface is provided that has options for defining entities and attributes. A model of a remote data source is defined based on inputs received via the interface. The model includes an entity representing a data segment from the remote data source. The entity has properties, which represent fields of a data structure in the remote data source and have data type descriptors indicating data types used by the fields. The model also includes an attribute specifying a function, which uses the properties as inputs. The entity is matched to exported data from the remote data source. The match is performed based on the exported data elements being arranged in a hierarchy corresponding to the properties and the data elements having the data types corresponding to the data type descriptors. The attribute's function is executed using, as input data, the data elements mapped to the properties.

  • Patent number: 10452414
Abstract: User interface information related to relevant events of interest is provided. Events can occur anywhere in a document, and may or may not be relevant to a user utilizing an assistive technology (AT) application, such as a screen reader. A provider-side signaling system component determines whether raised events are relevant to the user. In some examples, when an application makes a plurality of attribute changes in a document at once, the signaling provider batches the related events as a single transaction, and generates a generalized annotation describing the changes. The signaling provider further packages the event notification, and sends the event notification to a client-side signaling system component. The signaling client receives the notification, and determines whether to alert the user of the event(s) based on verbosity settings. The AT application is enabled to interpret the event notification and alert the user in a meaningful way.

  • Patent number: 10384752
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for the docking of an underwater vehicle (such as a ROV) to a subsea structure (such as a basket or cage) for the transfer of payload devices, such as ocean bottom seismic nodes. The ROV may have a docking probe that is rotatable between an extended and retracted position by a rotatory actuator. The subsea structure may have a docking receptacle that receives the docking probe while the probe is in an extended position. The docking probe and receptacle can latch and/or be secured together by a variety of mechanisms. Once secured, the docking probe can rotate thereby changing the relative positions (horizontal and/or vertical) of the ROV and the subsea structure. The underwater vehicle may have an elevator mechanism that may move vertically and/or horizontally and that is coupled to a handler or grabber for handling and/or transfer of the payload devices.

  • Publication number: 20190160101
Abstract: Non-coding RNA, such as miRNA, expression data derived from a cell population is used to infer the propensity of that cell population for a cellular functional effect for a pre-determined purpose, which effect is temporally, procedurally or interventionally separated from the cell population from which the expression data is derived. Thereby, the cellular functional effect of a cell population can be predicted in order to improve decisions and selections to be made relating to the use of cells, e.g. from cells deriving from different donors or batches, for use in bioprocess application or cell therapeutics, in order to enhance productivity, efficiency and/or efficacy.
