    Abstract: A gas detector is tested by releasing detectable gas from a storage medium and delivering it to the gas detector. A cartridge for delivering detectable gas includes a container with an outlet and a storage medium in the container. Detectable gas is stored in the storage medium for being desorbed from the storage medium. A test device can include a receptacle for receiving the cartridge, an interface for fluidly coupling the device to a gas detector, and passaging to provide fluid communication between the interface and both the cartridge received in the receptacle and external air. A pump can pump external air and the detectable gas released from the cartridge through the passaging and interface such that the pumped detectable gas and air form a proportioned mixture for testing the gas detector.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for a tamper-evident cargo container seal bolt lock are disclosed herein. The device can include a bolt member having a conductive medium running the axial length of the bolt, and a receiving member for locking the bolt into place. A battery-driven sensory circuit including a memory means, a processor, and a timing circuit can be disposed within the receiving member such that a continuous circuit is formed from one circuit pin over the conductive medium through the length of the bolt and back to a second pin. The sensory circuit is configured to sense whether the circuit has been interrupted (e.g., if the bolt has been cut). In the event of an interruption, the circuit can record the time and/or date in memory. This information can then be transmitted to an RFID reader/interrogator if a dispute arises as to when the lock had been broken.

A concept is generated from the operation of layers of the first encoder network, which is regularized by a first loss between the generated concept and a labeled concept for the training text. A second encoder network determines features for the training image. A heatmap is generated from the operation of layers of the second encoder network, which is regularized by a second loss between the generated heatmap and a labeled heatmap for the training image. A categorical cross entropy loss is calculated between a diagnostic quality category (classified by an error encoder) and a labeled diagnostic quality category for the training data pair. A total loss function comprising the first, second, and categorical cross entropy losses is minimized.

    Abstract: An adjustable bracket that clamps onto a first axis includes a rod defining a second, orthogonal axis upon which a pivot block is mounted. The pivot block includes two perpendicular splined apertures which may receive a fishing rod holder that has a splined shaft to fix the azimuth orientation of the rod holder in the pivot block. The fishing rod holder has a clevis which receives a perforated ear of a rod retaining tube. A fastener clamps the retaining tube in the clevis at a desired elevation angle. The retaining tube has other features which may coddle a reel mounted on a fishing rod. The azimuth options of the spline interface and the elevation adjustment of the clevis joint provide second and third adjustable axes for orienting a fishing pole from an attachment point on any railing or stanchion or post on a vessel.
