  • Publication number: 20210171014
Abstract: A vehicle includes an engine having a crankshaft, an electric machine having a rotor, a disconnect clutch having an input secured to the crankshaft and an output secured to the rotor, a hydraulic pump mechanically powered via rotation of the rotor and configured to supply hydraulic fluid to the actuate the disconnect clutch, a torque converter having an impeller secured to the rotor, and controller. The controller is programmed to, responsive to a speed of the impeller decreasing to less than a first threshold, which is indicative of a subsequent shutdown of the hydraulic pump, and responsive to the disconnect clutch being open while the engine is shut down, advance the disconnect clutch to a touch point where opposing sides of disconnect clutch make contact but substantially zero power is transferred between the engine and the electric machine.

  • Patent number: 11020429
Abstract: Provided are cells, e.g., engineered immune cells, expressing recombinant or engineered molecules involved in metabolic pathways, such as those that promote or inhibit one or more metabolic steps, reactions, or pathways, for example, in T cells. Such molecules include those that induce or repress a particular functional outcome or metabolic event, for example, one that promotes differentiation or reprogramming into a particular phenotypic state, such as memory, long-lived, activated or activatable, non-exhausted, phenotype or stem-like phenotype. The cells generally further express an immune receptor, such as an antigen receptor, which may be an engineered receptor, such as a CAR or recombinant TCR, or may be a natural immune receptor. Also provided are cells, such as T cells, expressing such molecules and combinations thereof, compositions comprising such cells, nucleic acids such as vectors encoding the same, and methods of administration to subjects in adoptive cell therapy.

  • Patent number: 11003645
Abstract: A resource dependency system may track data dependencies and data transformations for individual columns of the data sets over the span of the data pipeline (referred to as a provenance or lineage of a column). Column provenance/lineage can be logged using metadata or graph-like data structures, which the resource dependency system can generate, store, manage, and access. Column provenance/lineage can be used to generate user interfaces displaying visual node graphs with columns as nodes and the data dependencies and data transformations associated with the columns as edges between the nodes.

  • Publication number: 20210119856
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to resetting observable channel knockouts. A device may transmit a poll request frame to a cable modem to solicit information associated with the cable modem. The device may receive a response frame from the cable modem, wherein the response frame includes information indicating the cable modem is in a partial operation state. The device may store at least a portion of the information in the memory. The device may determine a command configured to cause the cable modem to transition from the partial operation state. The device may transmit the command to the cable modem.

  • Publication number: 20210092050
Abstract: A communication session may be broken up into many smaller packet bundles over many tunnels and over different routes in order to obfuscate the entire data stream. Apparatuses may dynamically build hop-by-hop tunnels in a backbone telecommunications network, segment data into packet bundles at the customer edge, or break up data traffic of a communication session along multiple routing or switching paths in order to obfuscate the data traffic of the communication session.

  • Patent number: 10956406
Abstract: Using a distributed database system that manages a plurality of different raw datasets and a plurality of derived datasets that have been derived from the raw datasets based on a plurality of derivation relationships that link the raw datasets to the derived datasets, a subset of records that are candidates for propagated deletion of specified data values is determined. One or more particular raw datasets that contain the subset of records is determined. The specified data values from the particular raw datasets is deleted. Based on the plurality of derivation relationships and the particular raw datasets, one or more particular derived datasets that have been derived from the particular raw datasets is identified. A build of one or more particular derived datasets to result in creating and storing one or more particular derived datasets without the specified data values deleted from the particular raw datasets is generated and executed.

  • Publication number: 20200396237
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a data analysis system that may automatically generate memory-efficient clustered data structures, automatically analyze those clustered data structures, and provide results of the automated analysis in an optimized way to an analyst. The automated analysis of the clustered data structures (also referred to herein as data clusters) may include an automated application of various criteria or rules so as to generate a compact, human-readable analysis of the data clusters. The human-readable analyses (also referred to herein as “summaries” or “conclusions”) of the data clusters may be organized into an interactive user interface so as to enable an analyst to quickly navigate among information associated with various data clusters and efficiently evaluate those data clusters in the context of, for example, a fraud investigation. Embodiments of the present disclosure also relate to automated scoring of the clustered data structures.

  • Patent number: 10853454
Abstract: Various systems and methods are provided that graphically allow health insurance company personnel to identify patient diagnoses that are not accounted for by the health insurance company. Furthermore, the various systems and methods graphically allow health insurance company personnel to identify patients that have not submitted claims for documented ailments or conditions. Thus, the health insurance company may be able to improve its chances of receiving transfer payments from other health insurance companies and/or receiving higher star ratings.

  • Publication number: 20200374615
Abstract: The present disclosure provides communication systems and devices for use in noise environments, such as during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In some embodiments, a communication headrest is provided that consists of a headrest that supports a patients' head, an optional bone conduction microphone, and one or more vibration actuators. The headset makes contact with noise-isolating earplugs worn by the subject such that vibrations generated by the vibration actuators are transferred through the earplug, via acoustic conduction, to enable the patient to hear audio content while the earplugs provide passive noise protection by occluding the ear canal.

  • Publication number: 20200348321
Abstract: Methods and apparatus that enable drying and curing a plurality of specimens carried by a plurality of microscope slides. Slide carriers are positioned at a first position while the slide carrier holds the microscope slides. Each of the specimens can be carried by one of the microscope slides. The slide carrier can be robotically moved to move the slide carrier into a circulation loop defined by a heater apparatus. The specimens and/or microscope slides can be convectively heated while the slide carrier is located in the circulation loop.

  • Patent number: 10815951
Abstract: A vehicle includes an engine and an electric machine coupled to a transmission element. The electric machine is also selectively coupled with the engine by a clutch. The vehicle includes a belt integrated starter-generator (BISG) operatively coupled to the engine. An electronic controller includes one or more inputs adapted to receive a temperature measurement and a request to start the engine. The electronic controller is programmed to energize the BISG and the electric machine in response to receiving an engine start request and a temperature measurement being less than a threshold temperature measurement. The electronic controller is further programmed to close the disconnect clutch to apply torque from the electric machine to the engine in response to the electric machine achieving a threshold electric machine speed.

  • Publication number: 20200289075
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for delivering images to a patient before and/or during a medical procedure in which a patient is translated on a table relative to a gantry. In various example embodiments, images are projected to the patient while preserving the projected field size during table motion, thereby potentially reducing patient anxiety by providing a more immersive patient viewing experience. In some example embodiments, the projected field size is maintained by a display system that is secured to the table such that both a projector and a projection screen are fixed relative to the table, and relative to the patient, during translation of the table. In some example embodiments, a reduction in patient anxiety may be achieved by projecting images as virtual images that are perceived by the patient as residing at a depth that lies beyond the confined spatial region in which the patient resides.
