  • Publication number: 20210276641
Abstract: A Mobile Climbing Robot (MCR) with wheel or endless-track type propulsion using magnetic attraction for generating adhering forces is adapted to climbing non-planar surfaces such as intersecting walls, pipes or other structural members. A tether is connected to the MCR through a tether linkage that causes the tether to bend with a radius that keeps it from protruding outside of the MCR wheels. The purpose of this is to increase the mobility when passing over variations of the climbing surface such as edges or corners. The purpose is to further protect the tether from wear caused by rubbing with the climbing surface.

  • Publication number: 20210260750
Abstract: Abstract of the Disclosure The Invention describes a method to train and edit robot programs without the need to directly interact with the robot program or code. A new program is created by guiding the robot to desired locations in the program and then teaching those program positions with a button or similar input. An existing program is edited by moving the robot end-effector to a position in its workspace that is near the desired location of the program to be edited. An algorithm then is used to find the nearest program point in the existing program to the current robot end effector position. The algorithm then drives the robot to this nearest location. The operator can then visually confirm that this is the correct point in the program to edit, or move the robot again and repeat the algorithm search. Once the operator is satisfied that the robot is at the location of the program to edit, the operator can delete that point by pressing an appropriately labeled button.

  • Publication number: 20210234768
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method, executable by a network device, that receives a set of commands specifying an ingress interface of the network device and a set of packet attributes. The method further generates a test packet based on the set of packet attributes. The method also injects the test packet into a hardware packet processing pipeline of the network device so that the test packet appears, from the perspective of the hardware packet processing pipeline, to be received at the ingress interface of the network device. The method further processes the test packet through the hardware packet processing pipeline of the network device. The method also captures the test packet before the test packet exits an egress interface of a plurality of egress interfaces of the network device.

  • Publication number: 20210113152
Abstract: The systems, methods, apparatuses, and articles disclosed herein provide a new approach to treatment symptoms, such as proprioceptive dysfunction and vestibular disorders, which may be caused by certain types of human ailments. According to the present disclosure, a wearable article may include one or more limb sections and a resilient member may be provided along a length of each of the one or more limb sections and configured to generate a resistance force. Adjustments to the resistance force provided by the resilient member(s) may be adjusted using cord locks. As a user wearing the wearable article moves, the resistance force is applied to the user's limbs. Strain gauges may be provided to measure the resistance force(s), which enables verification that the resilient members are sized and configured to provide an appropriate amount of resistance force to a user and may improve programs and regimens designed to treat such ailments.

  • Patent number: 10979573
Abstract: Techniques are described for forecasting and dynamic routing of incoming routing service requests in a service environment that includes one or more call centers. Implementations apply a doubly stochastic modeling technique to modeling call volumes, call wait times, calling handling times, and/or other parameters in a service environment that includes one or more call centers that include multiple skill codes for the service representatives. By simultaneously modeling on different time scales, such as modeling both inter-day and intra-day correlations, implementations are able to provide an analysis that exploits more of the structure in the data compared to traditional techniques. Implementations can also integrate in other types of time series for other effects that may impact the call volume or other parameters in a service environment, such as exogenous and/or anomalous variables that are independent of other inter-day and/or intra-day trends exhibited in the data.
