  • Publication number: 20130025499
Abstract: A porous hardenable drainage element (14) is produced from a molding compound (10) of expanded plastics granulate and a bonding agent by virtue of the fact that the molding compound is received in a ladle (30) having a pouring opening (32) closed off by a mold bottom (44), the molding compound is pressurized in the ladle, the element (14) is molded from the molding compound in a mold formed by lowering of the mold bottom (44) down into an opening cross section (42) consistent with a cross section of the pouring opening (32), and the element is separated from the molding compound by mutual lateral displacement of the mold and the ladle (30).

  • Patent number: 8251760
Abstract: A terminal for electrical resistive elements of molybdenum silicide or alloys of this material, which terminal is arranged to pass through a furnace wall or a furnace ceiling or corresponding insulated wall, where the terminal located at each end of the hot zone of the element has a diameter that is larger than the diameter of the element in the hot zone. The invention is characterised in that a terminal connector is connected to each terminal, in that the terminal connector is made from aluminium, in that the terminal connector has a length that fully or partially constitutes the length of the combined terminal length, where the combined terminal length is the length of the relevant terminal of the element and the terminal connector.

  • Publication number: 20110300179
Abstract: The present invention provides a cellular vaccine for therapeutic or prophylactic treatment of a pathological condition, the vaccine comprising or consisting of a population of CD 4+ T cells modified such that they contain an antigenic component, and/or a nucleic acid molecule encoding an antigenic component thereof, wherein the T cells are (a) activated, or capable of being activated, and (b) apoptotic, or capable or being made apoptotic. The invention further provides an adjuvant composition for use in a method of vaccination, the composition comprising or consisting of a population of T cells, wherein the T cells are (a) activated, or capable of being activated, and (b) apoptotic, or capable or being made apoptotic.

  • Publication number: 20110248431
Abstract: A thermoforming apparatus for forming a blank into a composite article. The thermoforming apparatus includes a forming tool. A forming member forms the blank over the forming tool. A first chamber is arranged for containing the blank. A second chamber is separated from the first chamber by the forming member. A first air circulator is configured to circulate air in the first chamber for achieving a heat distribution to the blank. The first air circulator includes a controllable valve member. The apparatus also includes a second air circulator. A method for forming a blank during circulation of air in a first chamber.

  • Publication number: 20110127698
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for conforming a blank onto forming surface sections of a forming tool by drawing a vacuum against an elastic vacuum bag for transmitting forming forces from the elastic vacuum bag to the blank. The elastic vacuum bag includes at least one bag section having a different stiffness than other bag sections. The at least one bag section is an elongated bag section having a stiffness larger than that of surrounding bag sections. The location of the elongated bag section of the elastic vacuum bag corresponds, when the elastic vacuum bag after completion lies against the forming surface sections having the blank in between, with an elongated forming surface section of the forming tool where the blank requires a forming force being larger than that of the surrounding bag sections.

  • Publication number: 20100278208
Abstract: A suspension arrangement for terminals for electrical resistive elements, which terminals pass vertically through a body and are attached relative to the upper surface of the body, which terminals pass over into the hot zone of the resistive element in the form of a shank element, which extends downwards from the terminals, where one or several of the shanks of the hot zone is or are supported by hooks attached to the lower surface of the body. The suspension arrangement for each one of the terminals includes a first attachment attached relative to the upper surface of the body and a second attachment attached relative to the terminal. A spring arrangement passes between the first and the second attachment, which spring arrangement is arranged such that the second attachment is mobile in the vertical direction relative to the first attachment.
