  • Patent number: 6977016
Abstract: A method has been developed for surface modifications of high temperature resistant alloys, such as FeCrAl alloys, in order to increase their resistance to corrosion at high temperatures. Coating it with a Ca-containing compound before heat-treating builds a continuous uniform and adherent layer on the surface of the alloy, that the aluminum depletion of the FeCrAl alloy is reduced under cyclic thermal stress. By this surface modification the resistance to high temperature corrosion of the FeCrAl alloy and its lifetime are significantly increased.

  • Publication number: 20050253743
Abstract: A method and a computer program are described for developing a product (110), and services associated with the product, which product has at least one activation area (308) which is provided with a position code (403) that codes at least one position on an imaginary surface (601), which position causes a device (710) that detects the position code (403) to initiate an operation that utilizes information recorded by the device (710). A digital representation of at least part of the product comprising image points is produced, each image point in the digital representation of the activation area (308) corresponding to a position on the imaginary surface (601). A digital template that can be used for making the digital representation of the product is also described.

  • Patent number: 6814563
Abstract: The invention refers to a plant and a holding device in connection with heat treatment of articles (3), which is at least partly manufactured in a thermosetting composite material. The holding device, which is comprised by the plant, includes a base element (1), and intermediate element (2), which rests on the base element (1), and at least a support member (4), which is fixable to the intermediate element (2) and arranged to support said article (3) on the intermediate element during the heat treatment. The intermediate element (2) is manufactured in a material which has a neglectable thermal extension at least up to a temperature level, at which the heat treatment is intended to take place. Furthermore, the intermediate element (2) is displaceably positioned on the base element (1).

  • Patent number: 6810248
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for managing the operation of wireless communication systems are described for transferring inter-exchange information. Interdepending data pertaining to inter-exchange traffic handling events is transferred from the exchange where the data was entered in man-machine-language (MML) by a human operator to other applicable exchanges where the data is automatically entered base upon a subscription between the serving exchange and the target exchange.

  • Patent number: 6722574
Abstract: A business card and a pen, which is adapted to detect a position-coding pattern on the business card and calculate a coordinate by means of the pattern. When activating a send box by means of the pen, a computer sends a .vcf file containing the card holder's particulars to a card recipient belonging to the pen holder. When using an optional pen, the .vcf file is sent to a recipient indicated on the keypad of a mobile phone or written on the business card in associated fields or marked in other manners. The pen communicates with a computer wirelessly, for instance via Bluetooth, mobile phone and the Internet. Additional information can be drawn on the back of the business card and be attached to the transmission, such as date and time for the next meeting, a small drawing or sketch etc.

  • Patent number: 6683281
Abstract: The present invention is for a method for heating of blanks and other heating of metallic materials in a furnace before working where heat is transferred to a blank in the furnace by radiation. According to the method of the invention an important part of the radiation hits the walls of the furnace and are reflected there before it is transferred to the blank. Preferably the furnace is designed so that head radiation is reflected also at the bottom of the furnace. At least 50% of the radiation which reaches the blank ought to be reflected radiation. The invention is also for a furnace for heating of blanks and other comprising at least one furnace bottom part (1) and at least one furnace top part (4) having side walls (5, 6, 7, 8) where at least parts of the side walls of the top parts are inclined so that opposite walls are inclined towards each other.
