    Abstract: An exemplary amplitude shift keying (ASM) demodulator and a radio frequency identification (RFID) system using the same are provided. The ASM demodulator is adapted to demodulate an alternating current input signal and generate a demodulated envelope signal. The ASM demodulator includes a signal input terminal group, an input rectifier circuit, a current mirror circuit electrically coupled to the input rectifier circuit, an output stage electrically coupled to the current mirror circuit, and a low pass filter electrically coupled to the output stage. The input rectifier circuit is electrically coupled to the signal input terminal group and adapted to perform a rectifying operation applied to the alternating current input signal. The input rectifier circuit includes a plurality of electrically coupled transistors and a gate electrode of each of the transistors is unconnected with a source electrode and a drain electrode itself.

    Abstract: A method for generating one-time password (OTP) using a mobile phone registers a telephone number of the mobile phone on a website at first. A communication server generates a first random number and a second random number. Furthermore, the communication server generates a first OTP according to the first random number, and a subscriber identity module (SIM) card of the mobile phone generates a second OTP according to the second random number. The communication server checks if the second OTP is the same as the first OTP. If the second OTP is the same as the first OTP, the mobile phone has successfully logged onto the website.

    Abstract: A method for pre-calibrating a balance gain of an analog front end in an optical disk drive to calibrate a variation of a focus balance. The method includes the steps of: adjusting the balance gain of the focus balance; moving a lens and getting an S curve; and comparing a positive half cycle of the S curve with a negative half cycle of the S curve. When the positive half cycle is equal to the negative half cycle, it represents that the balance gain of the focus balance is optimized and the procedure ends; or otherwise the above-mentioned steps are repeated to adjust the balance gain of the focus balance again. Because the balance gain is pre-calibrated, the optimal power calibration, the successful disk-reading possibility, the write-in quality and the stability of the disk judging mechanism can be enhanced and the consistency and the stability of the product can be improved.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a scan test data compression method and decoding apparatus for multiple-scan-chain designs. The apparatus comprises a on-chip decoder connected to a tester. The decoder includes a decoding buffer configured as a multilayer architecture, a controller, and a switching box for receiving a shift signal or a copy signal. The decoding buffer is used to store decoded test data. While the decoder decodes the encoded data, it transmits control signals to both the decoding buffer and the switching box from the controller, and sends the decoded data to scan chains of a CUT for testing through the decoding buffer. This invention has the advantages of simple encoding method, high compression rate, low power consumption in testing, and without the fault coverage loss.

    Abstract: A detent apparatus for water temperature regulation of induction faucets includes a mixer located in a faucet and a swiveling mechanism located in the mixer. The swiveling mechanism has a rotary valve and a handle located outside the mixer and the faucet. The detent apparatus includes a detent portion preferably formed integrally with the mixer and located on the outer surface of the mixer body in a protrusive manner. The detent portion has a top end surface spaced beneath a bucking portion of the end seat at a selected distance. When the end seat is swiveled the bucking portion hits a left bucking angle or a right bucking angle of the top end surface thereby the swiveling angle of the end seat is confined within a limited range.
