Abstract: A system and method for increasing total dissolved solids (TDS) concentration and pH of water is provided herein. The water is processed using a variety of filtration and purification methods, including carbon filtration, water softening, reverse osmosis, and electrodeionization. After filtration and purification, the water is pumped into a mineral infusion chamber, including a plurality of bioceramic components. At least one TDS sensor monitors the TDS concentration of the water stream, and a flow rate out of the mineral infusion chamber is controlled by a flow control valve based on sensor data produced by the at least one TDS sensor.

  • Publication number: 20240242447
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing device may determine a virtual content to be displayed with a scene of a real-world environment. The device may generate an image depicting the virtual content. Using one or more sensors, the device may detect characteristics of the scene of the real-world environment. Based on the image and the characteristics of the scene, the device may determine that a visual enhancement is to be applied to the virtual content depicted in the image to enhance a contrast between the depicted virtual content and the scene. The device may generate a visually-enhanced image depicting the virtual content by applying the visual enhancement to the virtual content depicted in the image. The device may display the visually-enhanced image of the virtual content on a display of the computing device, wherein the scene of the real-world environment is visible through the display.

  • Patent number: 12040610
Abstract: A power control device for use in an AC power grid for regulating an electrical power a load that is supplied by the AC power grid consumes. The power control device has a frequency sensing functional block for detecting a deviation of the grid frequency from a nominal grid frequency and a logic functional block for performing a load adjustment process during which the power the load consumption is reduced. The load adjustment process is based at least in part on the variation of the frequency of the AC power grid. The load adjustment process is design such that for a plurality of power control devices the individual response produce a grid-wide effect that compensates imbalance between power generation and load in fashion that may reduce unwanted distortion in the AC power grid, such as flicker.

  • Patent number: 12033496
Abstract: In some examples, a system detects an accident involving a first vehicle, where the detecting is based on an accident indication received by the service over a network from a second vehicle not involved in the accident, the second vehicle different from the first vehicle, and where the accident indication from the second vehicle is responsive to messages received by the second vehicle from other vehicles. In response to the detecting of the accident, the system verifies that the accident occurred by sending, from the service, queries to a roadside unit and a third vehicle, and receiving, at the service, responses to the queries from the roadside unit and the third vehicle, the responses containing event data collected by the roadside unit and the third vehicle of events in a vicinity of the accident.

  • Publication number: 20240220825
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for specifying a predictive goal that describes an action that a customer of an organization may take or a behavior that a customer of the organization may exhibit. A training engine receives the predictive goal from a user via a Graphical User Interface (GUI). The user specifies the predictive goal by entering one or more customizable logical or comparative statements. A training engine divides historical data into training data and testing data, selects useful and relevant features from the historical data as inputs to a machine learning model, and trains the machine learning model. The training engine transmits the trained machine learning model to an inference engine that generates, for each customer in a historical data set, a probability that the customer will satisfy the predictive goal within a specified time frame. The disclosed techniques further generate explanatory data associated with the trained machine learning model.
