Abstract: A dental device is described. The dental device includes a surgical template having one or more sites for drilling osteotomies in the maxillary or mandibular jaw and a false teeth set. The surgical template and false teeth set are configured to fit together to form a denture prosthesis that can be implanted in a patient. Also described are a method for creating a surgical dental template, a method for implanting a dental prosthesis, and a method for reducing jaw bone in a patient.

The sprinkler engaging portion includes a pair of oppositely facing surfaces defining an outer perimeter and a recess including two opposing flats. A protective boot cover is removably attached to the sprinkler engaging portion and includes flat cover portions covering the two opposing flats.

Abstract: A corridor sprinkler includes a first flow shaper member supported by a support for shaping the flow of fluid from a sprinkler that includes a shelf portion having a proximal end and a distal end, the shelf being generally parallel to and spaced from the axis of the flow passage through the sprinkler body. A shield extends directly from the distal end of the shelf and generally perpendicular to the axis and partially intersecting the column of fluid without the support obstructing the column of fluid between the discharge opening and the shield. The shelf and the shield can each have a diameter greater than a diameter of the discharge opening. A second flow shaper can extend from the support on an opposite side of the axis from the first flow shaper and partially intersecting the column of fluid.

Abstract: A window restraint device includes a mesh screen having an upper end and a lower end. The restraint device includes an upper attachment device, such as a clip or strap, coupled to the screen upper end for removable attachment to an automobile door frame. The restraint device also includes a lower attachment device, such as a suction cup, coupled to the screen lower end for connecting the lower end of the screen to an automobile window. Neither the upper or lower attachment devices interfere with normal operation of the vehicle window, nor do they restrict a pet from normal movement within the vehicle. The restraint device may also include a spring-loaded reel from which the screen may be extended from or retracted into. The spring provides tension between upper and lower ends of the screen.

Abstract: An animal collar according to the present invention includes an inner layer of non-porous flexible plastic. The collar may also include an outer layer of non-porous flexible plastic molded over the inner layer of non-porous flexible plastic, the outer layer having first and second ends and being configured to encircle a neck of an animal. A clasp or other fastener may be included for coupling together the first and second ends about the animal's neck. In addition, the inner layer includes an aesthetic property such as a color. The outer layer may also have an aesthetic property such as another color that is different from the aesthetic property of the inner layer. The collar may also include at least one ornament, the inner layer being molded over the at least one ornament and separating it from the outer layer.

Abstract: A window regulator wherein the drive means can be pivoted, during assembly, to move the centers of the driven drum and a guide closer together to provide for easy routing of the flexible drive member and can then be moved apart to tension the flexible drive member to complete the assembly. The regulator can be a single rail regulator or a dual rail regulator and the flexible drive member can be a belt, wire cable or other suitable device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods, systems, and apparatuses for providing automated vehicle image acquisition, analysis, and reporting. One embodiment of the invention includes a method for providing vehicle damage information to an interested party. The method can include receiving simultaneously captured image data associated with a vehicle. The method can also include comparing at least a portion of the image data with previously stored image data associated with the vehicle. Furthermore, the method can include based at least in part on the comparison of the portion of image data with previously stored image data associated with the vehicle, determining whether damage to the vehicle exists. In addition, the method can include outputting an indicator of whether damage to the vehicle exists.

A light source generates red, green, and blue light using arrays of extended cavity surface emitting semiconductor lasers. The beams of individual lasers overlap and have a distribution of optical attributes selected to reduce speckle on a display surface.

Abstract: A hopper for a paintball gun is disclosed. The hopper is a gravity feed hopper and has a lower profile than those in the previous art. The hopper fits closely to the profile of the paintball gun and may have multiple chambers along with unidirectional gates to control the flow between chambers and within chambers as well. This invention may take the form of a hopper mounted onto a previous type of paintball gun as an aftermarket add-on or it may be built into the paintball gun itself as part of its construction.

Abstract: Systems and methods verify and/or correct optical errors of an eye. A plan is generated for a corrective procedure of the eye from a measured optical error, and a verification lens is formed based on the measured optical error to verify the procedure plan. Alignment of an aperture (with a size selected to correspond to the size of the pupil) with the eye while measuring optical properties of the eye through the verification lens improves verification accuracy, as does mounting of the verification lens and aperture to the patient with a trial frame.
