Abstract: The present disclosure generally provides an apparatus and method of forming a pressure equalizing audio speaker that can be easily manufactured and provides a high quality audio output. One or more of the embodiments of the disclosure provided herein include a sealed enclosure that has at least one liquid impermeable and gas permeable region that allows the flow of a gas between an interior region and an exterior region, while preventing or substantially inhibiting the movement of a liquid from the exterior region into the internal region. In general, the liquid impermeable and gas permeable regions are configured to allow slowly changing gas pressures registered between the internal region and exterior region to be relieved, while allowing rapidly changing gas pressures generated by the diaphragm at audible frequencies to function at a desired level during use.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to electronics powered by thermal energy. More particularly, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to wireless headphones that are powered by thermoelectric generators. One embodiment provides a wireless headphone having a wireless audio device capable of generating an acoustic output from signals received through a wireless communication link, and a thermoelectric generator assembly configured to provide electrical power to the wireless audio device.

At least one of the metal strips can be joined to at least one other metal strip at a plurality of adjacent joining regions.

Abstract: A gaming system is disclosed which includes a plurality of spinners, each spinner being associated with a plurality of display positions and having a plurality of symbols disposable at the display positions. A spinner controller is arranged to select the symbols to appear at the display positions for each spinner, and an outcome evaluator is arranged to determine whether the symbols shown at the display positions correspond to at least one winning outcome by reference to at least one defined win condition. Each win condition comprises a win line having at least three display positions from two adjacent spinners. A corresponding method of gaming is also disclosed.

Abstract: A framing member incorporates a series of web slots along a portion of the member that are expanded through the process of manufacture. The expansion of the web slots creates voids and metal web elements in the webbed portion of the member, which can be a stud. The voids created during the expansion process can become the voids for running wiring, plumbing and heating ducts. The web elements can be designed to minimize thermal transmission from the exterior to the interior of a wall including the member, as well as provide adequate structure properties required from the structural member. The expanded slots allow the part to enlarge without increasing the amount of raw material and therefore substantially reducing the cost to manufacture.

The method and system includes a storage appliance in association with an event that will result in the loss of a state table from volatile memory that halts changes to at least one state table of the storage appliance. The state tables describe a plurality of file system states of one or more clients connected to the first storage appliance. The state information is written to a persistent memory of the storage appliance. The state table may then be repopulated using the state table information stored in persistent memory.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure may include a method and apparatus for improving the efficiency and extending the operation time between recharges or replacement batteries of a portable audio delivery system. The audio delivery system may include a processor, an audio processing device, a speaker, and a rechargeable power source. The audio delivery system is generally configured to generate and/or receive an audio input signal and efficiently deliver an amplified, high quality audio output signal to a user. In some embodiments of the disclosure, the audio processing device of the audio delivery system may include a switch mode power supply (SMPS), a signal delay element, an envelope detector, and a switching signal amplifier.

The dongle may be configured to be wirelessly connected to a headset and may include a plurality of contacts that are configured to be connected to the plurality of outputs when the dongle is communicatively coupled to the port. The dongle may be also configured to be communicatively coupled to gaming platforms other than the gaming consoles that are connected to the dock.

The method and system includes a processor configured to instructions stored on a memory to produce a simulation interface. The simulation interface includes an abstraction layer that receives verbs from a test driver and passes the verbs to one of two or more plugins. The plugins may include a synthetic plugin configured to translate the verbs into one or more command and send commands to a simulated storage appliance that is a computing device with relatively lower performance than an actual storage appliance. The simulated storage appliance may act in place of two storage appliances clustered to form a storage cluster. The simulated storage appliance forms a simulated storage cluster. The simulated storage cluster simulates the performance of the verb on by the storage cluster.

Abstract: Methods and uses for molecular tags are disclosed. Molecular tags may be attached to nucleic acid molecules. The attachment of the nucleic acid molecules prior to PCR amplification and sequencing improves the accuracy of genetic analysis and detection of genetic variations and diversity. Molecular tags may also be used for detection of drug-resistant variants. Methods for using molecular tags for determining and correcting PCR errors and/or sequencing error are also disclosed.

The system also includes a diffusion pump that has a chamber with an inlet and an outlet. The inlet of the chamber is in fluid communication with an outlet of the reactor. The diffusion pump also includes a reservoir in fluid communication with the chamber for supporting a diffusion pump fluid and a heater for vaporizing the diffusion pump fluid in the reservoir to a vapor. In addition, the diffusion pump has a jet assembly in fluid communication with the reservoir having a nozzle for discharging the vaporized diffusion pump fluid into the chamber. The system can further include a vacuum pump in fluid communication with the outlet of the chamber. A method of preparing nanoparticles is also provided.

System can include a processor; a data structure storing account data for each player, the data including at least player identification data; a display configured to display a depiction of the gaming table, a plurality of player positions and a position locator, the locator positioned apart from the depicted player positions; a data input device to input data to position the locator to identify a player position; and a device to access the player account data, the processor associating player identification data with the identified player position. The locator can be configured as a pointer, e.g., a pointer and slide. The processor can be configured to highlight the position identified by the locator. Related methods and apparatus are also disclosed.
