    Abstract: An online system presents a feed of content including content items and one or more scrollable content units to a user of the online system. A scrollable content unit includes an ordered set of content items and a display area presenting fewer than all of the content items of the ordered set at a time. The user navigates through the ordered set of content items in the display area by interacting with the scrollable content unit. If the user navigates through fewer than all of the content items in the ordered set, the online system modifies the ordered set. If the scrollable content unit is again provided to the user, the scrollable content unit presents content items based the modified ordered set. For example, the modified ordered set prioritizes presentation of content items from the ordered set that were not previously presented to the user.

The scrollable content unit is scrollable in a direction that is orthogonal to an orientation of the feed of content, allowing presentation of additional content items from the ordered set when a user navigates through the ordered set. When all content items in the ordered set have been displayed by the scrollable content unit, an interaction with the scrollable content unit by the user presents additional content associated with the ordered set of content items, such as a page associated with the common attribute of content items in the ordered set.

Instruments according to certain embodiments of the invention connect to a shaping member such as a broach, reamer or osteotome that is used to prepare the intramedullary canal of a desired femur or other bone for total hip arthroplasty. Such an instrument according to such embodiments can be configurable to allow operation on either the left or right leg, and in doing so to provide lateral offset and anterior offset of the instrument handle relative to the shaping member so that the patient's gut, musculature or other bodily portions may be avoided while still providing desired leverage and control over the shaping member to prepare the intramedullary canal.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a phase locked loop (PLL) comprises a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), a frequency divider configured to frequency divide an output signal of the VCO to produce a feedback signal, and a phase detection circuit configured to detect a phase difference between a reference signal and the feedback signal, and to generate an output signal based on the detected phase difference. The PLL also comprises a proportional circuit configured to generate a control voltage based on the output signal of the phase detection circuit, wherein the control voltage tunes a first capacitance of the VCO to provide phase correction. The PLL further comprises an integration circuit configured to convert the control voltage into a digital signal, to integrate the digital signal, and to tune a second capacitance of the VCO based on the integrated digital signal to provide frequency tracking.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for applying a fine-grained QoS logic are provided. The system may include a memory controller, the memory controller configured to receive memory access requests from a plurality of masters via a bus fabric. The memory controller determines the priority class of each of the plurality of masters, and further determines the amount of memory data bus bandwidth consumed by each master on the memory data bus. Based on the priority class assigned to each of the masters and the amount of memory data bus bandwidth consumed by each master, the memory controller applies a fine-grained QoS logic to compute a schedule for the memory requests. Based on this schedule, the memory controller converts the memory requests to memory commands, sends the memory commands to a memory device via a memory command bus, and receives a response from the memory device via a memory data bus.
