  • Patent number: 11965071
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to thermoplastic films and products formed therefrom that include additive components effectively compartmentalized based on diffusion characteristics of the additive components. For example, first and second additive components are localized on a thermoplastic film in a manner that as the additive components diffuse, they minimize or avoid interaction. Specifically, the thermoplastic film is folded over itself to create an air gap that causes the additive components to desorb, diffuse into the air gap, and then absorb into the film at a position across the air gap rather than diffusing substantially laterally across the thermoplastic film. By ensuring that the additive components diffuse up and down rather than laterally and by laterally offsetting the additive components, one or more implementations effectively compartmentalize the antagonistic components.

  • Patent number: 11967853
Abstract: An autonomous underwater vehicle includes a vehicle body controlled by a processor. An anchor joined to a tether is disposed in the vehicle. The vehicle has control surfaces for maneuvering, a propulsion unit, and a turbine. The propulsion unit and turbine generate thrust to propel the vehicle. A power source provides power to the vehicle. The turbine is further joined to a generator. When the processor detects that the power source is below a threshold value, the propulsion unit is stopped, the anchor is deployed, and the control surfaces are operated to move the vehicle in a predetermined trajectory through a fluid stream of the environment restrained by the tether. The fluid stream causes rotation of the turbine and generator to recharge the power source.

  • Patent number: 11966637
Abstract: A method and system for storing data in portable storage devices. Specifically, the disclosed method and system provide a solution for the write-hole problem inflicting persistent storage, especially redundant array of independent disks (RAID) configured storage. The write-hole problem may arise from the occurrence of power failure during a write operation of data to RAID configured storage, subsequently resulting in disparities between the data and parity information thereof—the consistency there-between of which is critical to data reconstruction upon disk failure. To rectify these inconsistencies, a full-stripe (or full-block set) write is recommended, which the disclosed method and system implements through the use of, and re-mapping of relationships between, virtual, physical, and in-memory block sets.

  • Patent number: 11966330
Abstract: Examples described herein relate to processor circuitry to issue a cache coherence message to a central processing unit (CPU) cluster by selection of a target cluster and issuance of the request to the target cluster, wherein the target cluster comprises the cluster or the target cluster is directly connected to the cluster. In some examples, the selected target cluster is associated with a minimum number of die boundary traversals. In some examples, the processor circuitry is to read an address range for the cluster to identify the target cluster using a single range check over memory regions including local and remote clusters. In some examples, issuance of the cache coherence message to a cluster is to cause the cache coherence message to traverse one or more die interconnections to reach the target cluster.
